[8.32 lb] I shoot wedding videos and usually all my batteries are dead even before the wedding dinner is done. But with this heavy Hytron 140, with the single battery it was so powerful it gave me juice until the middle of the dancing part. After about 7 hours when all batteries are exhausted, I switched back to the last remaining juice of hytron 140 to video the last 10 mins of wedding couples exit. To my surprised I was so happy to be able to record that exit and then my hytron finally ran out of power. Folks I am talking about extended life of a battery which saved my wedding video shoot. My shoulders are aching carrying a DSR 300 but it is all worth it. Very expensive but worth the power it provides

[Black] For larger cameras that draw lots of power this is the best battery on the market. It's a bit on the heavy side but this has it's advantages in terms of providing proper counterbalance when handheld.

[Black] I shoot hours of sporting events every day and these batteries easily last an entire game and thru the interviews. Usually I can even use them for at least half of the next game as well.

[Black] I'm a first AC and Steadicam operator. This plate is perfect when you need to extend the battery back from the camera to better balance something like a shoulder rig, or even to put it on a Steadicam for better dynamic balance front to back. Another great use for this plate is to power multiple accessories either left or right of the main camera body. Sometimes you need more cable length, or less, and this gives you those options to tighten up the cables and overall look of your rig. And of course the main reason why you want to use this is to power multiple accessories in general. A typical setup I use is the bartech Wireless follow focus, Teradek bolt pro 600 wireless video transmitter, & a small HD 702 7 inch monitor to pull focus from.

[8.32 lb] Given that this product is meant for use with industry-standard cinema cameras and other camera support equipment, I wouldn't use anything else to add power ports to any Anton Bauer-based camera system. Every time that I have used one of these plates it has been reliable. I am glad to have purchased one to throw in with my accessory rentals.

[8.32 lb] It powers my GY HD110u with a portable hard drive for over10 hours. It recharges quickly with the Titan 70. Although itis oversized for my camcorder and quite heavy (it weighsover 5lbs), it balances nicely with a matte box and filters.It gives me peace of mind during extended documentaryproduction schedules. In the studio there is no need for anadditional power cable running on the floor. The addedweight stabilizes the camera on the shoulder. One year usingit and I would only trade it for the Dionic 160 if it didnot cost twice as much. Expertise: Professional Problems Encountered: One year of use and no problems at all.
