[2.285 lb] This backpack is rugged, stands up on its own (with a water-resistant bottom), and very comfortable. . The straps (sternum and belt) are long enough and padded, so no cutting into your body.

There is enough space inside for my equipment; I usually take one camera, a tripod, and three lenses (50, 55-250, and 70-200). I also have room for a water bottle and snacks.

[Tan/Beige] A very helpful person at the B&H store in Manhattan helped me pick out this bag to go with the long lens I was purchasing for safari.

It is a very versatile camera bag that has served a real sweet spot for me:
It's big enough to carry long lenses and multiple bodies.
It's durable enough for harsh, wet conditions (using the rain cover).
It's lightweight enough to not add too much bulk to my travels.
It's proportioned properly to serve as an airline carry-on.
It's got lots of storage spaces for small items like spare batteries, cards, wipes, covers, backup drive, plus two side pockets with straps for monopod, tripod, or water bottle.
And it's got comfortable backpack, sternum, and waste straps for versatile carrying.

On safari. I carried 2 bodies, 3 lenses, a monopod and tilt head, with a variety of accessories, plus backup drive and binoculars, all in one bag. It was my carry on luggage for the international flight. On the safari cruisers, I was able to keep multiple bodies handy at my side and ready for shooting under the large zipper flap.

After a month of rough conditions, it still looked like new.

I've since taken in birding, and with less gear in the bag, it's an even easier lightweight carry.

I'm very pleased with this bag.

[2.285 lb] Perfect for my needs

[Yes] I really like this backpack. Definitely wanted to go with Pelican, because every product I have gotten of theirs is awesome. Needed a backpack for picking up a few items at the store and taking my lunch to work on the days I take my motorcycle. I like the reflective logo, there is plenty of space, and multiple pockets. The top zip section has a special zipper to seal out rain. B&H got this to me within days of order, always right, always quick, and great prices. Going to get a few of the 35s next.

[Universal] I own more bags than I want to. Like most photographers I'm in search of the perfect bag. Well I still haven't found it, but this Tenba comes closer than others I own from Mindshift, Lowepro, and Think Tank. With the others I found myself switching bags constantly to fit the use case. The Tenba does just about everything well. Now I rarely use the others unless I need to go very small or very large.

The Tenba is well built, lightweight, very functional, and is deceivingly roomy. The only minor issue I have is the interior pockets could easily be better.

[Universal] It is the perfect size to carry to work and school as a backpack and compact to attach to your carry-on luggage for travel. Highly recommended if you don't like to check-in bags at the airport.

[Zipper] This is a solid well-built backpack. I didn't believe it's actually waterproof but have gotten into substantial downpours with it and everything inside was dry. Two water bottle pockets are perfect for smaller water bottles (20 oz or smaller).

Like anything, it wears out - but wears slowly. my only complaint is the lack any chest straps on this model (they appear on the MPB25) -- I ended up buying some separately.

[Zipper] I purchased this backpack recently from B&H, and while unique it is well constructed and easy to use.
The side loading compartment will take an aps-c dslr with lens mounted without risk of anything breaking in the front. The top closes with a zipper plus a strong strap.
Inside there is well padded laptop sleeve. On the outside is a pocket for a water bottle.

If you have a range of additional parts you'll need an insert to drop in.
The expandable top is best for light items, perhaps that sweater you didn't need to bring after all. And the attractive outer shell would repel light showers, with a rain cover included if required.
