Enhance the functionality of your camera with the Proaim SnapRig Multipurpose Cheese Plate, a robust mounting solution designed for your Blackmagic URSA Mini Camera. It attaches to the top of your camera and offers multiple universal connections for mounting additional accessories.

It has multiple ARRI-style anti-twist holes and threaded holes for mounting top handles, articulating arms, monitors, EVF mounts, mics, dovetails, and other accessories. Furthermore, the threaded holes on the rear and front plate let you mount a rod clamp for an optional battery plate, follow focus, LCD mount, or other accessories.

Exact dimension specs are not provided by manufacturer at this time and we have no way of physically verifying this, since products are unavailable in our warehouse as of this writing.

A: Yes, the SmallRig Multipurpose Cheese Plate for Blackmagic URSA Mini is designed for the upper portion of the formfactor of the Blackmagic Design URSA Broadcast G2. The original handle will not attach directly to the cheeseplate.

A: I am not really sure whether this can be mounted on top of Sony F5 as I use this V-Mount adapter with my Blackmagic URSA.Thanks

A: We would say both the BMD and the CAME-TV accessories are comparable products that most people seem comfortable to use. The negative reviews would appear to come from personal taste or user error. The BMD accessory kit has a 30 day return and the CAME-TV kit is not returnable, exchange for defects only.

Q: 10. this will work with bmpcc6k and 6k pro versions?

A: Yes, you can plug in the cable linked down below from the BMPCC 6K and 6K Pro into the D-tap port on this plate. [Aluminum] Although it's designed to go on the top of a Blackmagic URSA Mini Camera, I found other use of the multi-purpose capabilities. The dimensions are just right for mounting between a QR plate and a camera or audio device to align for proper balance on a tripod head. The 10 screw slots allow flexibility that the standard cheese plate doesn't have, such as mounting a microphone with screws (bought separately). Gone are the days I have to worry about my mic loosening and falling out of the cold shoe because of varying weather conditions, not to mention the wind vibrations caused by mounting a mic directly onto the camera. It's a sturdy build, good price point and truly multi-purpose. 5

[0.48 lb] BMD is going to love how their Ursa Mini Pro G2 is performing with the Add on SSD Recorder. Coupled with the Angelbird AV Pro 1Tb SSD, the attributes are many, and the problems, non existent from my experience. And the work flow integration, the cost savings comparatively to CFast Media, and the uninterrupted recording time, are all just so favorable. Yes, in absolute terms, the AV Pro Media SSD IS not inexpensive, by any stretch of the imagination. But when you move from raw dollar evaluation to the value of the overall contribution, it is making in so many various ways, there is no comparison in my perspective. The Anglebird AV Pro in tandem with the BMD SSD RECORDER, It is a a significant force that has been added to the Ursa Mini Pro 4.6K G2 Camera. I don’t see it every being taken off my camera. 5

[Aluminum] I bought this and the SmallRig Top Handle with ARRI-Style Anti-Twist Mount (Lite) for my new Canon C200B. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of these products, especially considering the costs. The machining and production quality is outstanding, and because of this I can highly recommend if you are trying to outfit your C200B. 5

[0.48 lb] I bought this accessory to go with my Revo SR-1500 shoulder rig. Fits perfectly. Its definitely no Red Rock Micro, but it gets the job done. I love it and didnt have to spend a fortune. 5

[0.48 lb] For anyone looking for a top handle for the URSA Mini Pro, I was really happy with this purchase. I wasn't interested in paying $400 for the additional shoulder mount kit, and wasn't sure of the options. This thing is sturdy as hell and I can still mount a monitor on top, perfect addition to the camera. 5

[0.48 lb] Purchased this to use with the Blackmagic 12K camera. It is relatively easy to install (be careful when removing the battery block), and the mounting bracket is sturdy and well made. The most critical point to remember is that the Recorder is entirely dependent on the SSD utilized. You can not just stick any SSD into the Recorder and expect it to record high-bandwidth 12K Blackmagic RAW files. Currently we are using the Samsung 983 DCT U.2 MZ-QLB1T9NE 1.92TB SSD - it has the speed necessary to keep up with 12K data. Overall the URSA Mini Recorder is a great accessory for the 12K camera, it is much better (and more economical) than having to shell out for C-Fast cards. 5
