[1 User] When I first started using this I was ready to tear my hair out. The program is highly user configurable. It is so configurable that when I first started tools would just disappear or become disabled, because I had inadvertently set Caps Lock to on or did some other thing. You can customize things the way it suits you, but sometimes I didn’t know what I did. This caused a problem, because some tutorials on YouTube are done by those with customized tool bars that don’t look like what you have. When instructions are done in a staccato fashion it’s easy to get lost. Persevere, and use the tutorials provided by Affinity. And practice! That worked for me, and I have just scratched the surface. There is a lot to learn, and there is also some different terminology such as “Personas”, but it eventually becomes clear as to what they mean. This program is a real bargain compared to paying a monthly fee for Photoshop.

[Download] We use Darkroom Booth on our PCs. Wish we started with it! This wasn't our first software. But it will be the last. Once we realized what our strengths were (selling) and our weakness (graphics), we found Darkroom. We are graphic artist wannabes. We were so close to buying AND learning photoshop, but guess what? Darkroom Booth 2 is a drag and drop editor. We customize every layout and all of the screens the guests see and we still spend less time and effort than we did just designing the layouts with our original software. We have never used the same print layout or screens since we moved forward with Darkroom Booth. Clients LOVE personalization. Also, the way it organizes files, it is a cinch to transfer the graphics we create on our office computer to the booth computer/s. We used to sdesign directly on the booth computers, that was cumbersome and meant we had to be where the booth was. Now, we can do the backend work from anywhere! These folks are rolling out new features practically faster than we can learn them. Thankfully, the publisher has great communication with the users to spoon feed the latest and greatest to make sure we know how to use everything! Training/tech support is via LIVE human beings who speak English as a first language, you tube videos and a very active FB forum. Green screen is easy. I mean, really, really easy. Just playing with my laptop in my living room, the software keyed out my house plants. My other software involved tweaking during testing, then again at set up, then again as lighting would change during an event. Darkroom Booth 2 is a relief! Printer drivers are built into the software so you don't have to use the same port every time. Sure wish we would have started with Darkroom Booth 2, but I don't know if we would have known how truly powerful it is.

[Download] So glad I made this purchase. I was in a hurry to meet a deadline and Element 3D has been hands down the fastest most efficient way bring 3D objects into After Effects and create 3D scenes to composite into your videos. The ability to drag .obj files into After Effects is huge and the speed at which the program functions is incredible. I've been editing off a laptop with 16G RAM and a NVIDIA 1050 3G graphics card with After Effects CC 2020 and moving around my scene in the 3D viewer is instantly responsive without any lag or dip in resolution during camera rotation.

[Download] I've had Video Copilot's plug-in at several post houses I worked at, but never at home. It makes my life so much easier when I need to quick, 3d title animations. It's fast and it looks so good!

[1 User] Apparently Nvidia has a reigon locks on this. I really don't care about this game since the deal I got from B&H on the video card was amazing and will do business again with them.

[Download] I purchased my Mac Pro just so that I can start my own photobooth company. Just to find out that being a MAC user this isn't something that you would want to do with such an expensive device. I downloaded this software to test the device out but it wouldn't work. Thats when I noticed that you can only use this software with Windows.

[1 User] Video Copilot's element 3d is a great plugin. It allows me to bring my objects that I have modeled in Lightwave, into After effects. This has helped speed up production, because I don't have to render out the scene first. I can take my model straight into After Effects and then render my scene. All in After Effects.
