The Impact 2 Section Double Articulated Armfrom Impact 2 Section Double Articulated Armis a handy accessory with a 24.5" reach for precise positioning of a camera, light, flag or other item up 11 lb. The arm features a distinctive design that allows either section to be positioned anywhere along the length of the other and secured with large butterfly knobs. The sections terminate in 5/8" pins, one with a hex collar and the other with a 3/8" female thread. Optional accessories include Impact's CC-106R and CC-106T Super Clamps, and BHE-104 Camera Platform.

A: You would need a Super Clamp to clamp itnto the easel, then the arm connects to the clamp. Youll also meet an iPad case that includes a tripod mount, such as the Makayama Movie Mount.

A: Usually you would use a Super Clamp to attach it to one of the legs.

A: Hi, it is tough enough to support my speedlight. The more you extend the arm the more flexible it becomes. I do not know the wieght of you elichrom but if this is about canon 600 ex weight then yes, i will recomend it.

[2] Let me start off by saying that my need was not at all what this item was intended for but it still worked like a charm. I produce VR content and needed a way to mount a fairly heavy camera a few feet away from a wall. The location of the camera and the nature of VR shooting made it impossible to use my jib without it being completely visible on the shot. After days of searching online I came up with a completely off the wall solution, pardon the pun. This along with a right angle baby plate mounted on the wall has allowed me to do just what I needed and this arm has enough strength to easily hold my 7lb setup. Perfection. 5

[3] The arm is more adjustable than I had anticipated. It pivots on its contact points and I surprised that the length of the arms can be also adjusted at the contact points. The arm became more useful that I originally thought. I use it for flashes and some additional lighting with macro my photography. 5
