If you've ever wanted to listen to music while leaving your ears free to hear your surroundings, the ToughTested XDIO Elite Bone-Conduction Wireless Headset might be just the solution for which you've been looking. Unlike traditional headphones that fit on, over, or in your ears, the XDIO Elite reproduces sound via bone-conduction technology, which means the headphones actually rest on your cheekbones, just in front of your ears. This leaves your ears unencumbered, allowing you to hear your environment for greater situational awareness and safety. Wear the XDIO Elite at work and enjoy music without being cut off from your coworkers or try them during your workout routine to be more responsive to traffic and potential threats.

The built-in rechargeable battery will supply the headphones with 8 hours of playing time and 10 days worth of standby time. The battery is quickly recharged in 2.5 hours via the USB-C port. A tab control allows you to adjust the volume and answer calls. The XDIO Elite are IP55, rated for dust and water resistance, making them well suited for both indoor and outdoor use.

Q: 1. How do you know when it is fully charged?

A: There is a charging indicator on the top.

Q: 2. How do I get my phone to wirelessly charge with it?

A: In order to use the wireless charging with the ToughTested 10,000 mAh Solar Charger and Wireless Portable Power Bank, your phone would need to have QI Wireless charging built in to the phone. Otherwise, you would have to use a USB cable.

Q: 3. Is the bottom padded?

A: yes, bottom portion of bag is padded.

Q: 4. It says the field of view is 369 ft at 1000 yds but Bushnell website says 288 ft. for the same model number. Is there something different about this one from the one on Bushnell website or are the spes wrong?

A: Our site is incorrect. My sincere apologies for the confusion. I will contact our Web Team to update this information. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Q: 5. How do I get the solar panel to charge the power bank

A: The ToughTested 10,000 mAh Solar Charger and Wireless Portable Power Bank has a solar panel, it is not necessary to purchase a separate one. To charge it, just expose it to some light source, like the sun.

Q: 6. Can it be recharged via 12-volt cigarette lighter outlet in my car?

A: The ToughTested Bigfoot 24,000mAh Solar Power Bank can be charged by a 12V outlet in a car, however it will take a while to reach full charge.

Q: 7. Could you pull power out while it is plug to the outlet? to use it as a UPS when power runs out?

A: No, the ToughTested 16,000mAh Solar Power Bank doe not have the capabilities to directly pass power from an out let through to a connected device. When connected to an outlet for charging the internal battery the ToughTested 16,000mAh Solar Power Bank will only output power to a connected device once the internal battery has retained a small charge. However it will likely deplete very quickly when used in this way, so it is not advised.

[USB-C] We were reticent to purchase these initially, probably due to what seemed like valid complaints, negative feedback, etc. First, we were surprised at the quality, both for the earpieces and the microphone.

One Shokz customer commented that audio can seem a bit muffled at times and the audio is tinny. Possibly that customer may've not been wearing these properly or may be experiencing tinnitus (no pun or jab intended regarding tinny assessment). We've been experiencing the exact opposite, excellent tone, base and resonance on the earpieces, excellent microphone quality (feedback from those we've called). Quite frankly, we are surprised at the sound quality on these headsets (again, earpieces and mics). The audio actually can be VERY loud, depending on placement over the ear, so loud that we recommend having your finger on the volume button (over, behind the right earpiece, very easy to locate wearing the headsets) in the event that users should encounter loud voices, music, etc. from the other end of the conversation.

You really can forget that you may've been wearing these for even hours (a couple of business acquaintances were obviously looking at the headset, finally asking about the comfort and sound quality; my response: Oh, sorry, forgot I had those things on.).

They do not fit tight yet are surprising snug and secure in their fit. We've only used these for approximately 8 months, but have had nothing but very favorable experiences with these.

Incidentals: iPhones 13,14, 16, oh, and this is NOT incentivized product feedback (no free products, contests, etc)

[Open-Ear] I work from home, 10 hr shifts on one charge and constantly talking. More than pleased with this purchase. The sound drivers are fantastic as well. I had a set from 2018(not comms) and the updated sounds are well worth the upgrade.

[Open-Ear] This is my second set of Shokz. I have the Aeropex which I have had since 2020 and I love them. I bought the OpenComm2 for working remotely and they do not disappoint. They are light and comfortable. They link with my devices perfectly. These are great headsets for work. I can wear them all day and not feel any discomfort at all. Another positive note would be that I can hear what is going on around the house or where ever I am. I highly recommend the OpenComm2 to anyone who needs a headset for work.

[USB-C] I've used open run for years but sometimes they did not do well with online meetings. Since upgrading to OpenComm2 my audio for meetings is now reliable. So OpenRun for personal and OpenComm2 for work

[USB-C] These are my second pair. The first pair didn’t have the microphone. They only lasted a few years, but I’m particularly hard on headphones for this next set. I decided to get the boom mic and all of the people who might speak to on the phone seem to appreciate it.
