For example, there's no PC motherboard in this machine. The Net-Log was built to deliver continuous 24/7/365 recording as well as playback. A: No. There is no difference the units are one in the same. The following unit you see is the newer model available with just an updated enclosure.

Q: 4. Apologies, my question was not clear. When ripping CD's does the 2i find song names and cover art and store them automatically? Thanks!

A: Yes when you put a CD into the Bluesound Vault 2i it automatically rips the CD and applies the Artist Name, Song Title, Album Name and Album Art and enters them into your Bluesound Vault library. You will be able to see all of this when using the BluOS app.

Q: 8. Can the 2TB drive be changed out to something larger? What does it take to transfer the operating system from the 2TB HDD to the new one?

A: The internal HDD cannot be changed unfortunately. You can use a NAS drive and move the albums as needed. Or you can use a second Vault and the two libraries will coalesce into one using the app.

Q: 9. Can I connect a graphic equalizer and adjust the sound?

A: You would need to go from your source device into the graphic EQ and then into the Marantz receiver to be able to do that.

Q: 10. I just want to rip my CD collection and store it for playback. No streaming. Do I still need a continuous ethernet connection?

A: In order to play the music and access it from the Bluesound VAULT 2i Network Audio Player with 2TB HDD and CD Ripper (Black Matte) BH #BLVAULT2IBLK it would need to be connected with ethernet.

[8 to 384 kb/s] We installed this piece on our Dante network to add an audio connection to an auxiliary building about 300 to 350 ft away from the main building (head end). It worked perfectly and has had zero problems since it's installation. We would have purchased the two channel model, had it been available at the time of purchase. 5

[ 2 TB Maximum] Added to my pair of DANTE AVIO 1 out devices to round out the set... now I can use my spare ethernet wires to add additional input to network. Bonus is that it can be the master clock. 5

[4x Button] I had to set up music for an office X-mas party that spanned 3 floors and wanted to use the same audio signal simultaneously. I had not used Dante before. I set the transmitter and receivers up at home before the gig, using the free controller software. Everything connected and worked perfectly at home, then the next day at the job. Great solution! 5

[4x Button] This unit is great for getting 2 channels of audio into your Dante network. Just be sure you have Power Over Ethernet, either from your switch or from an injector, and off you go! 5

[ 2 TB Maximum] I have had this 2 input Dante Unit AVIO for about 6 months now. I have only used it in the studio and it has been a nice functional piece adding Dante to a stereo channel rack mic preamp unit reliably and without any issues. I can say I originally tried a cheap POE injector from online and it didnt work. but works just fine with my Cisco SG300 router with POE. I do wish they made 4 channel versions as well or even an 8 on the input end, to reduce the need for lots of router channels. Otherwise, great sounding and so far rock solid. 5

[HDD] This thing works perfect. Hook it up to your network with POE, and it shows up in Dante Controller just like its supposed to, then works without another thought! Indicator lights by the RJ-45 are handy to be sure everything is working. Were using this with a POE injector, and there are no problems. Welcome to the future! 5
