Included with this version of the Mini 3 is the DJI RC remote, a sophisticated controller that uses an integrated LCD and DJI Fly app to get you in the air quickly, without the need for a smartphone.

Using a handful of different pre-programmed drone flight patterns, you can use the DJI Fly app to quickly take professional-level videos. You can choose from Dronie, Helix, Rocket, Circle, or Boomerang modes. Once captured, the DJI Fly app lets you add filters and soundtracks and share your work directly to social media platforms. Using QuickTransfer, you can quickly send your QuickShots to your mobile device for backup and online sharing.

With aerial photography, the canvas is vast, which is why DJI gives you multiple options for capturing it all with panorama modes. You can choose from Wide-Angle, 180°, or Sphere panoramas. The Mini 3 automatically does the rest.

The DJI Fly app can intelligently optimize your images immediately after downloading a photo from the Mini 3, providing you with shots that exhibit more vivid colors and contrast.

Downloading your images can be as easy as walking near your drone. Once your smartphone is close enough to the Mini 3, the DJI Fly app can automatically connect to the drone and synchronize selected photos and videos at speeds up to 20 MB/s.

Piloting is made less stressful with the Mini 3 thanks to a series of integrated automated functions, such as automatic takeoff, precise hovering, and multiple return-to-home modes. Precise hovering uses both the downward vision and infrared sensing system of the drone to perform a stable and accurate hover. Return-to-home modes include Smart RTH, Low Battery RTH, and Failsafe RTH, which use GPS to automatically fly the Mini 3 back to its takeoff point when needed.

[6x3"] I primarily upgraded from my old DJI because it would not do RAW photos and is not compliant with the new FAA remote id. I love the RC controller, it's much better than using your phone or an iPad Mini like I was using with my DJI Spark. On average I am getting 28 minute flights with the standard battery. It's great being able to finally bring the photos into Adobe RAW for editing. It's very stable, I am amazed how the gyros stabilize this small lightweight drone. Overall I am 100% happy I got it. 5

[1] The drone most of us were actually waiting for.DJI shocked us with the price of the original release but now we can get the one we wanted. This drone performs so much better than the original version when it was released. Best drone for Real Estate work imo. This is also the one I take on vacation and use for fun. [1] DJI's decision to drop the zoom lens with the release of the Mavic 3 Classic while retaining the excellent Hasselblad camera is a welcome change. The bundled DJI RC Controller is excellent, and affordable alternative to the pricey DJI RC Pro controller. Being able to purchase the Mavic 3 Classic without a controller gives all of us more options. I found the Mavic 3 Classic easy to setup and a joy to fly. The onboard SSD is only 8 GB though, so an additional Micro SD card will be needed in most cases. DJI has moved the Micro SD slot out of the battery compartment to a small receptacle above the battery that houses both the USB port and Micro SD Card slot. While this is welcome change, the receptacle is small, so for most people, like me, removing the SD card after the card is ejected will require the battery to be removed in order to get a hold of the SD card to pull it all the way out. Not a big deal, just a two-steps forward, one step back kind of thing. The Mavic 3 Classic User Manual has a section on recommended Micro SD cards. I would pay particular attention to that before purchasing SD cards for this aircraft. The bundled RC Controller with the built-in screen has excellent resolution and is easy to use. DJI has added some additional automated flying maneuver modes with the latest firmware update to include a simple auto-pilot mode. There is no HDMI out port however, and the screen is not all that bright in direct sunlight. For Recreational Flyers, this bundle would be an excellent choice. For Commercial Operators, the RC Pro Controller is probably the better option. Sometimes, less is more. Fly Safe. 5

[Yes] This drone is truly amazing. The camera is outstanding, especially in Night Mode. I also love the Waypoints feature. Build your flight plan at home then when you get to the site, all you do is deploy and press GO. Fully automated. Cruise control is nice. I might even shoot in DLOG flat profile too since DJI has a custom LUT for the Mav 3 Classic. Drone feels solid and looks sleek. I'm gonna have a blast with this. Use the PayBoo card and save money! I saved $174. 5

[2 to 4x ] DJI has come a long way in making setup and flying really fun and easy. The picture and video quality are great. Learning to fly is also very intuitive and if you are not sure of how to do something there are hundreds of Youtube vids that can help. Highly recommend. 5

[33 Minutes] I've had almost. Every DJI drone and even some other brands, but nothing gives you the bang for the buck like the Mavic 3 Classic. Be sure to pick up an extra battery as you'll want to keep it in the air as much as you can it's so good. Also, don't forget a good set of ND filters. 5

[250°/s] I wasn't too thrilled with the release of the original Mavic 3. I read many reviews that suggested the 1/2 zoom lens was just a costly fun adder and not having the need for a drone with a zoom lens I decided to wait. I'm so glad I did, this is a spectacular drone with all the features of the original Mavic 3 without the zoom lens without the extra cost of the zoom feature I wouldn't use. 5
