The Ocean Matrix UHD 4K HDMI 2x2 Video Wall Processorfrom Ocean Matrix UHD 4K HDMI 2x2 Video Wall Processoris a video wall processor that works without any Web UI or software, so there are no complex menu systems or commands to learn. The unit features LED status indicators to show which ports are active, and the layouts and power are controlled using an easy-to-use IR remote.

The processor can be used for digital signage, video gameplay, surveillance, and other applications. It features one HDMI input that supports up to UHD 4K60 4:4:4 resolution, and there are four 1080p HDMI outputs can be used to display a 2x2 video wall at 4K resolution, with each output showing a fourth of the full image. Each output can also be individually rotated 180° for vertical or horizontal orientation. The four outputs can also be used at 1080p with rotation or in layouts consisting of 1x2, 1x3, 1x4 panorama, 1x4 split, 2x1, 2x2, 3x1, and 4x1 modes.

A: No it can not record to SD cards. The SD card is reserved for "future development" (new features they may add in the future) and firmware updates. Yes the SSDs are hot swappable

Q: 3. It seems you can only record to the iPhone’s storage? Is there any way around to record to an SSD while monitoring on the iPhone

A: At the time of this message, it is not possible to record to an external SSD when using the Atomos Ninja Phone Video Co-Processor, B&H # ATOMNJPB01.

Q: 4. Why would one use this instead of the Atomos Shogun 7, which is only $1300?

Q: 5. Will this work with a receiver that can only handle 1080p signals?

A: Yes it will. This converter has the ability to scale the image up to 3840 x 2160. However you can set it to upscale to only 1920 x 1080 if needed.

Q: 6. Is there a maximum hard drive size? I am using a 4tb drive but it won't go past 2tb on it? Hopefully firmware coming to support larger drives.

A: According to the manual, HDR-90 only accepts Samsung 860 Pro SSD. I can not find anything that shows a list of compatible storage sizes.

Q: 7. Does this record on standard SSD cards/drives?

[600 MHz] We have 2 TVs in a High School that we use for digital signage. We had used other vga over ethernet adapters but we ran into picture quality issues. Using these with an additional receiver we were able to hook these up to our network switch and had no issues. Picture and audio quality is perfect. Since we use managed network switches we created its own VLAN for 3 ports so other network traffic was not effected. If you don't use managed switches buy a cheap $40 5 port switch and it's a plug and play installation. I like the suggestion from another reviewer about having these devices having the option for power over ethernet. Anything that doesn't require a separate power adapter is handy. 5

[4x HDMI Female] I upgraded to the Ocean Matrix because the other brand I had was inconsistent in it's connection and it was frustrating. I use these with my Canon XA45 Camera and we extend 150 feet with no problem. LOVE IT! 5

[600 MHz] So far these device have about 6 hours on them. The video & audio are fantastic. I wish I had a device that told me how long the Cat 6 cable was between the 2 devices. It is long and must be close to maximum range. I did not think I would find something that could span the distance. 5
