Using Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity, you can access your personal library on your home network or online sources, such as Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music, Sirius XM, and more. You can also stream from DLNA-compatible components and devices, smartphones, tablets, and computers. With AirPlay 2 support, you can also enjoy the intuitive convenience of the Apple iOS platform.

DTS Play-Fi compatibility allows you to use the DTS Play-Fi app on an optional mobile device to control your audio experience, but it also lets the 7000N integrate into a whole home audio setup by connecting wirelessly to other Play-Fi-equipped devices.

A total of 6 preset buttons on the face of the 7000N component operate just like those found on an FM tuner. However, with the 7000N, you can set each preset to an online streaming service or your favorite playlist. All without the need of using a mobile app.

You can monitor what's happening with the 7000N at a glance via the 7000N's built-in 2.8" IPS LCD display. The display's GUI offers a variety of information, such as the current streaming service, system settings, music format, folder, track details, and more. You can even display an analog or digital-style VU meter for real-time decibel levels.

A: Yes, you can either connect to the WXC-50 with Bluetooth or wifi (on same network) from the laptop and then output to your receiver using output jacks (RCA type) or optical link. The WXC-50 also enables you to access many streaming music / internet radio sources directly.

Q: 8. Does the amp connect wirelessly to a Yamaha Aventage receiver so i can add it as a zone 2 for music?

A: It would require a wired connection from the pre-out to your Yamaha. This wouldn't act as a zone 2 but as source of music for the zone 2 that your existing Yamaha has.

[14.91 lb] I will try to be brief but helpful here as I really could wax adnaseum on this piece of gear for quite some time and never tire but I won't so hear goes the short review. Buy one. Now. Sell something to help pay for this but get one. Now that you have one, use very good interconnects to,hook up the player to your preamp or integrated. Don't go cheap because you will not hear what the Yamaha can do and I mean really do if you use sub-par or inferior quality interconnects. And use the balanced (XLR) outputs. Some people say it does not make a difference. Well, it does to my ears and they are not as good as they used to be and I still heard a difference between the XLR and RCA outputs. And please, use this player with good ancillary equipment. Cables, preamp, amp, integrated all need to be on a par if you are going to hear what this player is capable of. Give this player a good 60 hours at least to break in whether you believe in that or not. It sounds like poop out of the box. After a week of good play it transforms into one of the best CD playback pieces you will ever experience, bar none. Voices are so real it is scary, piano takes your breath away and the depth and width of the soundstage makes one feel they are about 10 to 15 rows up from the performers. I feel that the Yamaha is as good, if not a little better in some areas (soundstage depth) than my Naim CD5 XS / Teddy Pardo combo, plus the Yamaha gives me the benefit of SACD. I will just briefly mention that I have never heard SACD sound as good as it does through the CDS 2100. So, in summation; buy one now, use the XLR outputs, give it time to break in, PLEASE use it with gear that this piece deserves, sit back and be prepared to have people ask you all the time you are listening while you are smiling so much, or maybe they will ask why your jaw is just hanging open. I know mine does every time I listen. 5

[IPS-Type LCD] With hundreds of CDs, i wanted to upgrade my CD playback source. This transport has been an excellent addition to my system. Visually it looks very modern, and the build is solid. Playback sound quality is also determined by the outboard DAC used, but this transport has improved my listening enjoyment. Highs are very smooth, and the soundstage is excellent. If you’re looking to leverage the enjoyment of your CD collection, this transport is a great value. 5

[IPS-Type LCD] This box does one thing and does it well. It takes the digital info off your CD and sends it out a digital port. It does this with impeccable timing circuits so that there is no measurable jitter in the output data frequency. You will need an off-board DAC to convert the digital to analog signal. This can be a Stand alone DAC, or one that is built into your integrated amp or preamp. Highly recommended. 5

[Silver] The good thing about being old is that you have collected a whole bunch of stuff I have several hundred CDs which I packed up and put away. My audio system was set up for streaming. This transport definitely enhanced my listening choices. It works seamlessly with my system. The sound quality is excellent and I can enjoy listening to CDs that have significant memories for me. 5

[2.8"] I listened to CD music for decades on what I thought were good players, but buying this transport and plugging it into my DAC has changed my view completely. CDs (before the advent of digital music files) were always a nice portable medium with good sound quality. It was nice to get rid of the handling and storage issues of LPs, but deep down, LPs still sounded better. Now, with the Audiolab transport, I can enjoy listening to CD music as much as I have ever enjoyed listening to LPs. All of the music is there! It was getting lost in the 0s and 1s, somewhere, but this transport has magically found them. I will never look back, and never think of CD music the same. This is a quality piece of equipment available at a price comparable to much inferior equipment. Buy it! 5
