The Da-Lite 40.5" x 95" UTB Fixed Frame Screenhas an ultra-thin bezel and acid etched black aluminum frame for keeping the audience's focus on projected content. The HD Progressive 0.9 surface has a 0.9 gain and 170° viewing angle, with black backing to prevent bleed-through and retain brightness. Its low-profile flat-panel design allows it to sit 1.38" off the wall. The front lip of the bezel is .25" wide all around the viewing surface, which sits .13" off of the inner frame component.

The HD Progressive 0.9 surface is used with moderate to high output projectors. The seamless light gray surface achieves an ideal balance between color reproduction and image contrast. The screen comes with reinforced black binding on all four sides. The surface wraps around the frame and attaches to it with metal grommets. The HD Progressive 0.9 surface can be cleaned with mild soap and water, and is flame-retardant and mildew-resistant. It is also GREENGUARD GOLD Certified.

[42 lb] This screen looks beautiful, is simple to assemble, and is an amazing value for the price! I couldn't be happierwith it. The frame looks clean and professional, and the screen is perfectly smooth- no awkward stretch or wrinkles. My only critique is it's a little difficult to make the corners align perfectly. I ended up with maybe half a millimeter gap on one corner, but you would have to look very closely to notice that. Otherwise the design is flawless. Impressively well engineered design with a minimal number of parts. I almost never leave reviews for products, but I am legitimately impressed with this product. I wouldn't want its lack of prior reviews to dissuade anyone from trying it out. 5

[0.9] This is my fourth ALR (ambient light reflecting) screen. The first thing to know is, there are no miracle screens. There are good ALR screens, but none perform miracles. Even the best don't show a great picture in a really bright room. The second thing to know is, don't necessarily believe the promotional pictures and videos from manufacturers that show amazing screen performance. They have positioned the screens, projectors and cameras to show the screens at their very best. You are unlikely to duplicate this in a real world situation. Almost all ALR screens have, to one extent or another, a major problem – screen artifacts. Shimmering, hot spots, sparkles, grainy appearance and so on. In order to eliminate this problem I have owned four different screens. My newest one, which wasn't available when I first started my quest for better picture quality, the Da-Lite Parallax, has none of these problems. Zero! The Parallax probably doesn't have quite as good of ambient light rejection properties as some of the other screens, but with some light control and careful placement of light sources, you can still have light in the room and a great picture. A great artifact free picture is really important now that we have 4K material to watch. 5
