Gear up to game with the MSI B550 GAMING GEN3 AM4 ATX Motherboardfrom MSI. Utilizing the AMD B550 chipset, this ATX motherboard features the AM4 socket. Install up to 128GB of dual-channel memory via four DDR4 slots supporting speeds up to 4400 MHz when overclocking. Plus, an M.2 PCIe 3.0 slot and six SATA III interfaces ensure ample space for storage. Supporting AMD CrossfireX, this motherboard sports two PCIe 3.0 x16 and four PCIe 2.0 x1 slots.

Plug in peripherals via two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, and two USB-A 2.0 ports. A PS/2 connector is also present for legacy mice or keyboards. Output video using HDMI or DVI-D; connect audio equipment via six 3.5mm jacks. An RJ45 port supports Gigabit Ethernet. [ATX] I'm no expert, but it does what it's supposed to do, Has USB-C header and isn't flashy or goofy. Needed to use flashback button for 5000 series (Ryzen 5600G) but was not an pleasant experience. Didn't come with a physical manual other than the quick start guide so I just pulled it up from MSI's website. Be sure to read about the PCIe lanes. Was planning on using 2 m.2 NVMe drives but thankfully I realized it would not be optimal if we install a discreet GPU (at a later date) while using the 2nd m.2 slot. Be carful getting the I/O tabs just right while installing motherboard into case. Only one side of the memory slots have moving tabs that snap into place. It's not as fancy as other boards, but it isn't really supposed to be. I would not hesitate to use again. Actually, I plan to. 5

[1x 4-Pin Pump] Not too expensive, great board if you are looking to build your first pc because it is simple, nothing too fancy, very versatile. 5

[AM4] Took a little while to get here but this board was 70$ cheaper than micro center. Have had 0 issues so far, will see how good it really is when I upgrade to a zen3 CPU but for now it’s perfect 5

[1x PS/2] A little lacking on the RGB header options but great board overall. The manual is a great resource that made my first build a cake walk, its very detailed and thorough, tons of capacity and expandability with SATA, M.2 and USB cards, and great I/O options both in front and back. The built in RGB is also sick. One downside is the price but I bought this when it first came out and its already trending downwards. 5
