Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Which rain cover does it compatible with?

A: Urth Arkose 20L Backpack with Camera Insert (Black) outer shell is made from durable weatherproof 600D recycled nylon to keep your belongings safe. However, if you will be exposing the bag to heavy rain you can use the following rain cover.: https://bhpho.to/4btMRYg

Q: 2. Carry on is strictly limited to 22"x14"x9" on domEstic flights. What are the measurements of Tenba Solstice 24L?

A: Exterior dimensions of the Tenba Solstice 24L are 12 x 20 x 9" / 30 x 51 x 25 cm. It should fit comfortably as a carry-on. However, we do recommend you confirm with your carrier if you have concerns regarding gate-checking or under-seat compartments.

Q: 3. Can lock the zippers?

A: The Tenba Axis V2 Backpack (MultiCam Black, 24L) does not come with locking mechanisms.

Q: 4. Can it accomodate Nikon Z9 with Z400mm 2.8 TC Lens & Z 70-200mm Lens ? Also can Macbook 16inch be also fitted in this backpack ?

A: Yes, the Tenba Axis V2 Backpack (Black, 24L) can accommodate a 16" Laptop, the Nikon Z9, the Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S Lens, and the Nikon NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S Lens.

Q: 5. Would you buy this bag again? I like the "spin around & use it like a table" option - but I'm wondering if that's too gimmicky. How does it work in practice?

A: The "spin around" feature is the most popular aspect of the bag according to our users. It does work a bit better with the 12L and 20L packs just because of size, but it still works well with the 24L pack too.

Q: 6. Will this fit under an airplane seat?

A: The dimensions are 12 x 20 x 9" / 30 x 51 x 25 cm. But I would check with the airline you are flying with to see what they allow in overhead and under the seats. This can change from time to time.

Q: 7. My tripod is long, almost 31". How will it fit?

A: A 31" long tripod will fit in the outside tripod pocket on the Tenba Axis V2 Backpack (MultiCam Black, 24L).

Q: 8. It is not clear from the photos. Does this bag have a top or side access to put or take out a camera?

A: The Tenba Solstice 24L Camera Backpack (Blue) has a back and top opening.

Q: 9. can this backpack count as a personal item and fit under the seat of an airplane?

A: The 24 L is a stretch for under the seat. But the 20L should fit under the seat of most airplanes.

Q: 10. On the 24L specifically, can you fit an iPad Pro 12.9" in the front pocket, not the laptop pocket, but the pocket in front?

A: You can easily storage your Ipad Pro on the front pocket. The pocket dimensions are 17 x 10 inches.

[Empty] So you can have an idea of how much you can carry inside this backpack and still feel it light on your back, I have packed inside this bag:

A Nikon Df with a 50mm lens. A Nikon D750 with the 24-120 lens. A Nikon F4s with another 50mm lens. A Tamron 70-200 f2.8, a Tamron 200-400 f5.4, A Nikon 85mm lens, a Nikon 105mm f2.8 Macro. A pouch with my SB-700 Speedlight and its accessories, and still I have not yet used the front compartment.

This backpack is a no-brainer. It's worthy every penny.

[Empty] It's built really well with ample storage. The blue is darker than the images suggest.

I have in the main compartment: D810, 16-35, 24-70, 85, 3 batteries, smallish accessory case, SD card holder, and filter holder

One thing, though, is that there's pretty limited divider configuration due to the types of dividers included (there's only 1 long folding divider that can only really fit vertically) and some of the dividers are smooth (can't velcro anything to them).

Also, since this bag is deep, holding anything other than a gripped/pro DSLR will leave a lot of wasted space on-top of the camera. I'm still working on a solution.

[Zipper] I can confirm that this fits Sony A7iii with grip, 200-600, and 1.4x. Hood is on backwards. It might even fit with the hood in position without the 1.4x. There is room for some other equipment, but I bought it to hold the big 200-600 on a gripped body and so that's what you can bet will fit.

[2.315 lb] This is the perfect travel/camping bag. I like to see this as an in between for a normal backpack and a hiking/camping bag. It’s is so spacious you can fill all your things and still have room. Has tons of organization built in with multiple pockets in each opening. I love how lightweight it is, as well as durable. The sleek design is what will get me to use it any chance I get!

[Zipper] This is the best travel backpack ever. So many different compartments which is great. It's not bulky and my laptop and iPad fit great with room for other items. Great looking, great construction and high quality design.

[Zipper] I got this backpack to fit a Sony SEL200600G with the camera body and 1.4x magnifier attached. It still (just barely) fits with the lens hood attached. There's plenty of room next to the telephoto for smaller lenses and whatnot.

[Zipper] I've been able to get all my essentials; body & 3 Lenses, into the Solstice and found it's shoulder straps and waist straps to be comfortable for carrying. Total weight, bag & gear, is about 15 lbs, so I can manage it well for my age.

[Zipper] The Solstice 24L bag is advertised to have the same capacity as the Lowepro bag I'm replacing, but the Tenba bag holds more. It not only holds a lot of equipment but is easy to configure for specific needs. It is comfortable to wear and hike with. The feature allowing you to swing it around and open it with the waist band still attached is not quite as easy to use as I had thought, but still a nice feature.
