I would recommend getting the external glass dome attachment on the B1 in order to spread the light better and utilize such a big umbrella better.

A: It fits. But it's a very heavy umbrella and I wouldn't recommend using in a generic speedlight flash bracket. I just can't see the locking mechanism holding for many uses before breaking. I use it indoors only in the umbrella holder on an AB1600 alienbees and the shaft of the umbrella actually bows toward the floor. It's size makes it slightly awkward but the light it gives is phenomenally soft! It's the best $100 piece of equipment I've bought.
