Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does these wheels work with Matthews C-Stand ? 339567

A: Matthew C-stand legs are 27mm thick. unfortunately DigitalFoto Solution Limited 360° Rotatable Locking Caster Wheel for 25mm Leg & C-Stand would not fit Matthew's C-tand base.

Q: 2. Will this work with the 6x Litepanel 1x with soft box?

A: Yes, it will, thou you will need to use a counter weight. I also wouldn't extend the thin last arm, just the main one. I've used it with a ad600 and a 38 softbox with no problem. YOu can always go with the bigger version if space isn't a factor.

Q: 3. Is the angle of the caster to the leg adjustable?

A: The angle of the wheels on the DigitalFoto Solution Limited M11-036B Combo Stand Locking Wheel Set (B&H # DIM11036B) is not adjustable.

Q: 4. How long is the boom arm?

A: The SmallRig RA-C330 C Light Stand with Boom Arm BH #SMRAC330LS has a 50" arm.

Q: 5. Is the 11lb load capacity at boom's full extension?

A: Yes. 11-15lbs fully extended.

Q: 6. Is the weight capacity 5 pounds total or at each end of the boom?

A: The 5 lb (2.3 kg) load capacity of the Impact Mid-Range Boom Arm with Light Stand & Casters Kit is the boom arm's total maximum load capacity when the light fixture is placed on the end of the boom arm and the boom arm is extended to its maximum extended length.

Q: 7. How do I attach a second reflector holder

A: Basically you will have to use "A" clamps.

Q: 8. What are the specs for the included sandbag? How much weight can that sandbag hold?

A: The sandbag in the GVM C360 Turtle Base C-Stand and Cross Arm Boom Kit (10.5') holds up to 10 lb.

Q: 9. The Junior receiver looks like it's compatible with this tripod, can you please confirm? B&H # KUKS301012 MFR # KS301012

A: Once the base is taken off from the GVM C360 Turtle Base C-Stand and Cross Arm Boom Kit (10.5') the Kupo Runway Stand Base should fit.

Q: 10. when you say 26-60" extension, is that measured from the stand or does it include the counterbalance part?

A: Its 26-60" from the hook for the counter balance, to the tip of the 5/8" stud. This is not measured from the stand.

[Silver] For the price and the work I do, this stand is great! B&H was able to ship it to me faster than amazon could get me a C stand.

[60 x 11 x 6.75"] This two-section stand is perfect for a wide variety of applications, from piano to vocalist to solo instruments. It is short enough to mic a piano with the cover on half-stick, without removing the boom, and tall enough to mic a piano with a typical high/low pair of mics. It has a heavy base and good leg circle to prevent tipping. It's worth the extra money for a heavy duty stand.

[44 lb] This stand has three vertical sections, and is short enough for a spot mic on a bass or cello, or a piano on half-stick without removing the boom, yet tall enough for a singer or an overhead spot mic on a seated musician. This stand has a heavy base for good stability, even with the boom extended. I have other short stands, but none are as flexible as the K&M 252.

[Silver] I was looking for something that would collapse and be compact enough to fit in a carry-on. This stand fits perfectly, and I know of no other that fits in a small suitcase, but still gets tall enough to use as a normal, mic/boom stand in a seated subject application. I have to say, though, I had previously bought one of these from a German retailer (while overseas) and it is about half the weight of this one, maybe over there they're made of aluminum?

[5] I'm so impressed with this, I will never buy a light-weight, low capacity light-stand again. All parts are made very well on this heavy-duty, steel C-stand. With dual grip-heads, I was able to mount both a light with soft-box and a reflector on an additional extension / reflector-holder arm, all well within capacity. The large rubber grip made it easy to move the whole package. The spring cushion is impressive and nice when you have a large near-capacity package.

[Silver] Very robust stand that will put up with a fair amount of weight, I love the spring loaded sections that will not allow the section to have a hard stop. Ideal for holding a backdrop cyclorama.

[5] Microphone stands are workhorses that simply must have solid construction or a gig can be destroyed if one fails. The 252 is compact (a necessity for a traveling musician) and sturdy. I've tried stands by other companies and none are anywhere as good as this one is.

[Included] I wanted to find a good stand that was super compact and this is perfect. The quality is five star.
