This is a well, duh! sort of thing. I've only once forgotten to pick up AppleCare, and had a large repair bill come at 2.5 years (Butterly keyboard fail). Oddly, it has been the only repair I've ever had to make over 30 years of Apple computers. My dumb error. Repairs on these systems are all extremely expensive. If I can't be a good example, at least I can be a terrible warning... 5

Got this with my new Mac book Pro max. Hearing a friends story of needing a repair with his Mac and how fast and simple it was with the AppleCare made this a no no brainer. This was the most I ever spent on a computer so it gives piece of mind to have this added protection and support. 5

Worth the cost IMHO to protect my new Macbook Pro. Over the years, I have had dozens of Apple products and never had much issue with any of them. So now I only purchase Applecare for anything over $1000. And this Macbook Pro definitely qualifies. 5

If you are spending X dollars on a computer, then the square root of the AppleCare+ price x Accident-Free-Living Confidence Level = your Peace of Mind quotient. Peace of Mind quotient x price of computer = Real World Value. My Real World Value came out to be 22,360.6798. Now that's what I call a smart buy. 5

Anytime I buy an expensive apple product I get this just because I know if something goes wrong, I can get it fixed and don't have to worry about replacing it. Apple has excellent customer service and I have peace of mind knowing that when/accidents happen, Apple has me covered. 5

A calendar whiteboard fell off the wall and knocked over my $1500 studio monitor. Luckily, I had apple care. Apple fixed it in 3 days and I had to pay a $99 deductible. Without apple care they charge $999 which is ridiculous of Apple imo, but glad I had the AppleCare+. I have it on all my apple gear and always will. This doesn't change my mind on warranties outside of apple though. Talking to you Ram and Maytag... 5
