Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is the HU9 compatible with the new RX9S receiver?

A: As they are on the same frequency range, the Saramonic HU9 96-Channel Digital UHF Wireless Handheld Mic for UwMic9 System (514 to 596 MHz) is most likely compatible with the receiver from the updated UwMic9s system.

Q: 2. What is the locking system for the lav mics? (Godox Proprietary, Sennheiser, Sony...)

A: The Godox WMicS1 Pro Kit 2 Two-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System uses the same 3.5mm TRS locking connector and wiring configuration as Sennheiser does for its lavalier microphones..

Q: 3. Does this unit have a battery on board, or does it require power via USB-C port at all times?

A: The Godox TimoLink TX Wireless DMX Transmitter BH #GOTX is powered via USB Type-C.

Q: 4. Can it work with UWMIC9S receiver

A: No, the new Saramonic UwMic9S components are not backwards compatible with the older UwMic9 series components like the Saramonic TX-XLR9 Wireless Plug-On Transmitter.

Q: 5. Can this be used for remote shutter for canon?

A: While this trigger can be used to fire select flash units from a Canon DSLR, it doesn't offer any remote shutter capability. We do offer the Vello FreeWave Plus Wireless Remote Shutter Release for Canon, B&H # VERWIIC which connects to Canon DSLRs with the appropriate remote cable and the included receiver. https://bhpho.to/31d6bof

A: This plug-on transmitter will work with the following system: Saramonic UWMIC9 RX9 + TX9, 96-Channel Digital UHF Wireless Lavalier Mic System (514 to 596 MHz) B&H # SARX9TX9. The Saramonic RX9 receiver is not sold separately.

Q: 7. BH should carry the Saramonic SR-VRM1 plug on unit. The Pre-Amps are VERY quiet, similar to a Tascam DR-100 mark III (which I bought from BH) the SR-VRM1 is NOT a wireless unit. It's a recorder. No wireless issues to worry about. I own 6 of these. Retails for $125US

A: Thank you for this great suggestion! We will have it listed in our list of Saramonic products shortly.

Q: 8. Cuándo está disponible?

A: La fecha estimada de entrega más reciente que ha proporcionado Saramonic es el 23 de enero.

[Yes] Bought these to pair to my Sony URX-PO3D dual receiver. They synced up immediately. I added the Countryman EMW Lavs w/ Sony connectors and the sound is fantastic. The body pack is smaller than any other I've had before, but it is very solid. I put it on and walked outside the building and across the parking lot - solid signal. This will be my go-to audio setup for a long time!

[Mute Switch] Works great. Sounds great.

In regards to the plastic pack that the other guy complained about, there's price points. If you want a metal pack buy the qlxd model. You will spend more money, go figure.

[Manual] Rode sets the standard - this replacement is top-notch. DON'T JUST BUY THIS - you need the RX transmitter too. This is meant as a replacement if the TX breaks (I broke mine from slamming into a chair)

[Analog ] It paired with the Saramonic receiver right out of the box. Worked reliably on a shoot and it's well built. Navigating the menu system is pretty intuitive.

[Omnidirectional] Purchased this to pair with the Saramonic UwMic9 AU RX-XLR9 Dual-Channel XLR Plug-in UHF Wireless Receiver. Both paired straight out of the box. It works really well on my Shure SM58 microphone. Tip: to reduce noise or hiss, make sure both systems are at least five metres away from each other. It’s a great product as an entry level wireless transmitter. You get what you pay for.

[Analog ] I purchased 2 UTX-M40 TRANSMITTERS, 1 URX-P03D receiver and an extra ECM-V1BMP for my Sony RX10M3/RX100M7 cameras. The setup works great for 4K videos using the 3.5mm output. The microphones focus on the subjects with very little background. I am very happy with this setup as the RX100M7 is very portable when using a belt pouch for the receiver.
