[0.25 lb] This should be the standard battery sled for the Mixpre ii. I don't know what Sound Device is thinking when they design the AA battery sled. Huge design failure!. Keep falling and never securely locks. I like this sled better (Sound Device has one too). And when using it with Sony NP-F7XX, it last up 8+ hours (4 times longer than AA battery), and I'm sure it will last up to 12 hour (6 times longer) when using Sony NP-F9XX. The only cons is it's super thight. Don't use it if you plan to remove the sled very often. I suggest use USB-C port for file transfer when using this. 5

[0.25 lb] Honestly I just got it and I'm positively shocked at what a great idea this type of rigging is and how well it seeems to take weight. I've got Hytron batteries on it which are INCREDIBLY heavy and while I wouldn't recommend doing it too much just knowing it can take it in a pinch is great. Great build quality. [0.25 lb] This adapter could be sold by dozens if it was better marketed. It is a fantastic idea for anyone with on set monitors (focus pullers, camera ops, video village) . Worth EVERY penny. Hot swap is the bomb. 5

[0.25 lb] Bought an FX6 and the charger that came with the camera doesn't charge my old batteries. This charger was a good and reasonably priced alternative for dual charging and charges all my old batteries and new with no issues so far. All batteries seem to be holding their charges completely fine and run the slightly more power consumption FX6 for very long periods of time. Won't be using the DC power cable because the FX6 runs a different voltage than the last Gen cameras, but for charging batteries, works great so far. 5

[0.25 lb] Even though it seems to be of a design that may fail, I have used it non-stop for two years of Production Sound for double system film sound recording and it has worked perfectly. I actually bought two of them in case one failed, but so far I have only used one. It is much better than the one made by Sound Devices, because it has a lower profile when fitted with an XL-B3 battery pack. A professional will pay attention to what they are doing when inserting and removing this, and will never have problems! 5
