Q: 1. What real world wifi speeds are you all seeing with these WAPs? I have gigabit internet that runs about 800-900mb/s on all the wired devices, but only see between 70-120mb/s when on the AC wifi using Luxul WAP-1510's.

A: We've seen up to 400mbs on these. However a typical wi-fi AC connection depends on the device, distance, interference, etc. Real world for us is 120-180mbs for most devices.

Q: 2. How many radios are in this AP? to get the maximum throughput I would assume 3 radios as they would operate simultaneously.

A: The Ubiquiti Networks UniFi U7 Pro Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Access Point uses a single tri-radio that allows all three bands to operate simultaneously for connection to 300+ devices. Please see the build features listed by Ubiquiti here: https://bhpho.to/3Mfk9Qf

Q: 3. I have a Unifi network with Controller and two UAP-AC-PRO units installed. If I add this unit, will it support in-building client roaming with my other two APs?

A: Yes, the Ubiquiti Networks UniFi IW HD In-Wall Wi-Fi Access Point BH #UBUAPIWHDUS will support that.

Q: 4. Does this come with the ceiling mount?

A: The Ubiquiti Networks UniFi U6 Enterprise Wi-Fi 6E Tri-Band Access Point BH #UBU6ENTERPRS comes with a mounting kit.

Q: 5. What is the range of this AP? It is described as "long-range", but I don't see a distance in the specifications.

A: This would be highly dependent on the set up environment.

Q: 6. Do I have to mount right away or can I lay flat until time to mount it and still get wifi?

A: The Ubiquiti Networks UniFi U6 Enterprise Wi-Fi 6E Tri-Band Access Point does not need to be mounted to function.

Q: 7. I'd like to know how you can get up to 3000 Mb/s when the ethernet port is only 1000 Mb/s?

A: They are talking about wireless throughput which is broken down in two bands. 3000 Mb/s Total 5 GHz: 2400 Mb/s 2.4 GHz: 600 Mb/s You would not get 3000Mbps of internet speed. You could only get up to 1Gbps internet speed when using 5Ghz. The rest would just be more available bandwidth for local networking.

Q: 8. is a PoE power injector included with the U6-LR UniFi 6 AX3000 AP unit?

A: The Ubiquiti Networks U6-LR UniFi 6 AX3000 Long-Range Access Point does not include a power adapter.

Q: 9. Will this work with the dream machine?

A: Yes, it is compatible. It does not come with power so you can either use a poe switch or injector such as: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1079129-REG/ubiquiti_networks_poe_48_24w_poe_adapter_poe.html

Q: 10. Can I use a PoE Injector to power this AP?

A: Yes, the Ubiquiti Networks UniFi U6 Enterprise Wi-Fi 6E Tri-Band Access Point can be powered via PoE injector. The Ubiquiti Networks U-POE-AT PoE+ Adapter (BH #UBUPOEAT • MFR #U-POE-AT) is the recommended injector to use as a power supply for the U6 Enterprise AP.

[11 W] It is great. Compact, does what it needs to do. PoE is not automatic, requires to be turned manually through the Unifi Controller.

[8] Replaced an existing AP (non Ubiquiti) with this unit, it is very attractive in the space it's in and functions excellent. Highly recommended addition to a Ubiquiti full setup.

[1.42 lb] Setup took minutes to complete, even including install and configuration of local management VM in Ubuntu Server. Performance has been fast and stable since install with zero issues. Pricing was very reasonable for the quality and features.

[300] Have seen and heard/read about Ubiquiti products for years and finally made a plunge to replace my aging/ancient home network components consisted of dd-wrt flashed access points and a switch with dying ports.
    Ended up purchasing
    a) USW Flex Mini 5-Port Gigabit Managed Switch,
    b) U6 Pro Access Point and
    c) U6 Access Point in the end.
They’ve been up and running with no issues for about a month now. I have pfSense running as my router, DHCP server, and f/w and they’re working together with no issues. The new Unifi components along with Unifi controller/network server (free download with no subscription charge and i’m running it locally) provide a truly “unified” view and current status of my network, which I didn’t have before. Since all of my access points are wired, I cannot speak for their mesh capability. I’m happy with purchase and hoping to add another access point (in-wall version this time) soon. As always, shipping from B&H was fast.

[11 W] Have lots of Unifi gear already, and got this to assist with wifi in my living room which I already had cat5e running to. Powered right up, install is easy. It does get warm (some might say hot. But the PoE passthrough is a nice touch, and the other ethernet ports are great for my Apple TV, switch, etc.

    Would definitely recommend.

[1.42 lb] Needed to upgrade an old AC-IW and still require POE pass-through.
    Adopted, works great!

[8] Installed low on the wall behind a cabinet, which is anything but ideal. Have a great signal in the room and outside which has to go through drywall, insulation, plywood and stucco. Very happy with the results. Running connections at 2.4 and 5.

[22 to 26 dBm] It is a powerful AP with the benefit of a built in switch saving space. It's much more attractive than the round APs. Power passthrough allows for one to be powered by another in a daisy chain (no more than two can be connected like this).

[1.42 lb] I installed it myself. It was quite easy if you have the Ethernet wire available. I get great coverage now in the area that was week.
