Q: 2. Would Busch's guide on the Z6 also be good for the Z6 II ? I don't think the 2 cameras are that different, and Busch has a new book on the Z6 II that costs $40.

A: I do believe the Nikon Z6 and the Nikon Z6 II are similar enough to where you may get benefit using the older book for the newer camera. [July, 2013] David D. Busch's books are always on point and that's why whenever I purchase a new camera, his book is purchased along with it. It is always very well written and concise. If you are thinking about purchasing one on his books, stop thinking about it and just buy it. You'll be glad that you did. Highly recommend.

[July, 2013] If you bought the Z6, you WILL need something more than the supplied users guide. This book is a great choice! Not only does the book describe all the features and settings on the Z6, but explains WHY you would want to select each setting.

[200] I have been photographing since the 1950's for fun and profit. College photographer, US Army photographer, US Army Corps of Engineers photographer, small town wedding photographer, weekly newspaper sports photographer and now just fine art. Mostly on a second job basis. Nature, wildlife, and travel photography have always been a second interest. This book is as complete, understandable, comprehensive (for the film to digital crossover like me), and well illustrated as you can find. It will be a fun read as well as reference book from now on. Right on Sean!

[Focal Press] Every digital camera that I've ever bought, I bought one of his books (if there was one out there). His approach to how he explains things, tips and suggestions are priceless. Thanks David and B&H for selling his books.

[Soft] David's guidebooks are the best for practical advice on getting to know a new camera. Not a photography instruction manual - was not meant to be! But perfect for tweaking a camera for best practices and daily use! I have quite a collection of his books!

[July, 2013] In my opinion, David Busch camera guides are the most comprehensive guidebooks out there. Since I have several different Nikon and Sony bodies in my arsenal, I’ve now bought 5 of his books, 2 of which had to be bought 2nd hand because they were no longer in print unfortunately. I had to wait for this D500 book as it was initially out of stock but it was well worth the wait when it finally came in as is always the case with his camera guides. Comprehensive details and easy to understand, even for a tech dummy like myself.

[1.4 lb] I am a very amateurish photographer with intermittent experience with Nikon Autofocus and pre-autofocus cameras. Sticking with one camera line, in this case, the Nikon or for others maybe the Canon, has proven to be the way to go because of the progressive nature of cameras and photography. This book is extremely comprehensive and for me has to be digested slowly in parts over time. I am now about one-fourth of the way through the book and have found it to compliment the Nikon manual.
