Q: 1. Will this work on a Sony a7sII? I'll be changing lenses: anything from a 28mm prime to a 70-200 zoom.

A: The cover is larger than I would need for my Nikon D7200.However, I am very pleased that the helpful B & H sales person convinced me that larger is better than smaller. I chose the medium size rather than the small size specifically to give myself extra surface area for rain protection. It is large enough to insert both of my hands. It is also large enough for longer lenses (up to 15 ). I am extremely pleased with the service, information and product I purchased. In addition, I will add that I visited B & H photo specifically because I saw the store through the bus window (I was visiting NY from Oregon). I crossed the Hudson River on the New Jersey ferry the next day to specifically visit B & H. All of my state's major photo supply stores have disappeared from convenient locations. It was such an exciting pleasure to walk into B & H and see the humongous inventory they stock. I also received stellar information and purchase guidance concerning the video equipment I need to purchase in the near future. Thank you, Stoimen Vassilev in the video department for spending so much time with me to make it clear exactly what I need to purchase. Thank you for instantly emailing me a summary of all the gear I want. And thank you for immediately sending me a brief email so say hi and establish a way for me to communicate with you personally. I am delighted that I have found such a rich source for all my photography and video equipment for the future. Free shipping is such a beautiful thing...! Randy H.

Q: 2. What size should I get ? I have a Nikon D850 with a Nikon 200-500 zoom glass. Small, medium or large ?

A: Get the Ruggard Fabric Rain Shield Medium (17") BH #RURCFC717 for the Nikon D850 and the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Lens.

Q: 3. Question: What does the NV specify and why is it cheaper than the non NV? Answer: NV is "No Voice" which means it cannot Alexa.

A: The "NV" for the Denon Home 150 NV Wireless Smart Speakers with HEOS Built-In (White), B&H # DEHOME150NVW, refers to this speaker model's lack of voice assistant capabilities.

Q: 4. What size would you suggest for a Nikon d500 and 200-500 zoom What size would suggest for a What size would you suggest for the Nikon D500 with 200-500 zoom lens?

A: The Ruggard Fabric Rain Shield Medium (17") is the correct size for the Nikon d500 and the Nikon 200-500mm lens. Here is the link: https://bhpho.to/3ibYVEA

Q: 5. will this grip remotely operate my camera ?

A: No, it will not. It is just a handle for keeping your rig steady. For your reference, I used this on my FS700 and it does not attach properly. Check that your ARRI rossette on your rig or camera has a deep screw hole. The FS700 ARRI rossette is shallow and so this handle does not attach without some modification.

Q: 6. Is this compatible with Sachtler flowtech 75 tripod accessory dock?

A: They are not compatible.

Q: 7. Why can the LCD screen be exposed?

A: You have the option of exposing the screen or hiding it by pulling on the the draw cord. When exposed, you can use the screen to compose the shot.

Q: 8. Got a photo of this attached to 386B-1 Nano Clamp?

A: No we don't

Q: 9. Will this stop any magic arm from rotating or does it only work with manfrotto arms?

A: This is compatible with only certain Manfrotto products

Q: 10. Would any of these Ruggard Rain Shields work with a Sony PXW-X70 camcorder? I've looked at the accessories listed on the X70 page but aren't crazy about any of them. Thanks.

A: This one may be a bit too small, I would go with the 23" if anything.

I heard alot of complaints about AGM before buying a pvs-14 but I couldn't pass up on this deal. Tube is in excellent condition, the only complaint I would have is that in the q&a a staff member said this is white phosphor which it is not. This is a NL2 not and NW2. Still worth the price especially with the free thermal.

I found a bulk loader in an antiques store holding a full roll of Ansco Super-Hypan Neg from the 1960's. I tried 7 different development tests before landing on a method that works to develop the film at ISO 100, and benzotriazole is a big component of the success. Upon receiving I added the 10g directly to a a liter of water to make a 1% w/v solution and poured some into a dropper bottle for use. Approximately 15 drops makes 1 mL.

I develop my Ansco film in a Paterson tank with a 400mL solution of HC-110 Dilution B (1+31), with 30 drops or 2mL of benzotriazole. If I process 3 rolls at a time later on in a 1L developer solution I would use 75 drops or 5mL of benzotriazole for the same concentration. Agitation is continuous, to make up for the restrained development.

You might experiment with less and less benzotriazole until it's barely enough to restrain the fog, as the restrainer also impacts contrast by inhibiting development of the shadows along with the fog.

I know this is meant for the Gratical, but I recently installed it on my Z-Finder and it works perfectly for eyes that need a little extra magnification in the viewfinder.

I used this to develop a 40 year old roll of film. I tried developing without this, but it didn't work. After adding Benzo to my mix, I finally got the film developed!

I knew that real thermal imagers were not cheap, but I am very pleased with this one's performance for the price. With only a 256-res chip, I wasn't expecting a lot of detail, but I could easily recognize deer 200 yards away, and a rabbit at 80 yards. The sensitivity is very good as well: I can see my dog's footprints in the grass for almost a minute, and the water levels in my opaque water barrels are obvious.

I recently purchased the +1 and +2 and went ahead and purchased the +3 to future proof my Z-Finder as my eyes get older. The +1 and +2 work perfectly on my Z-Finder and I'm glad to have this one ready to go when needed. For the money, it is a fantastic investment.

Very good monocular! BH customer service is exceptional in the industry. Someone actually picks up the phone, and it’s not a robot! Great job BH!

This does exactly as promised, no more no less. Reduces fog fantastically, but also knocks back development speed and paper sensitivity. The directions say to dissolve the 10g in 500mL water and using at a rate of 30mL per L of developer, this is not easy and takes a very long time. I recommend 10g in a Liter of water and using 60mL /L developer, though heat and adding a little less than a gram of sodium carbonate will assist in the dissolving process without effecting the benzotriazol solution.

I have both the AGM StingIR640 & Iray MH25. The AGM overall seems like the better unit, it's lighter, have better manu control and the image quality and screen seems just a bit better. There is an battery extension included that allows you to use 18650 battery and that's a big advantage ! The Iray has an option for a similar extension but it's not provided and cost close to $100 for a small cheap peace of aluminum. Between the two units the screen on Iray appears larger but that's due to the magnification lense, the AGM is a lot closer to true 1x but the screen seems a bit smaller through the optic. The AGM got option for crosshair so you can mount the optic as stand alone thermal sight and that's a huge benefit for me. Overall I think the AGM is a fantastic unit with many useful features.

I looked at units costing twice this much and am so glad i chose the StingIR. The resolution is amazing and the light weight is remarkable. I'm not much for cliche's but this is a win-win.
