Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can you record voice on it?

Q: 2. iPad support?

Q: 3. Sony has three high resolution XLR microphones available: The EMC-100N, EMC-100U, and the C-100. I assume the C-100 is not good for field recording, so is either the EMC-100U or EMC-100N good for field recording? Alternately, are there any similar caliber microphones that are good for high resolution audio for field use?

A: It depends on what you intend to record. The EMC-100N is an omnidirectional mic, so if you intend to record a group of people or soundscape, that would be a good choice. The EMC-100U on the other hand is a cardioid pattern mic, so very good for single-subject or narrow-field recording. The C-100 is not really for field recording, more for studio work like voice over. A good choice for a mic that can do both is the Sony ECM-680S which is a switchable M/S Stereo mic that can be switched to unidirectional. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/514507-REG/Sony_ECM_680S_ECM_680S_M_S_Stereo_Shotgun.html

Q: 4. does it have english manual instruction ?

A: Yes it does.

Q: 5. Can this device be used (listened to) while it is being charged?

A: The FiiO M11S High-Resolution Portable Music Player BH #FIM11S can be used while in charged.

Q: 6. Can I record audio from internal mics and external simultaneously?

A: This recording scheme is not possible as the inputs are configured automatically when external microphones are connected.

Q: 7. How many volts of plugin power does the recorder supply via the 3.5mm jack?

A: Sony does not specify the specific voltage supplied to the 3.5mm Mic/Line input jack on the Sony PCM-D10 Portable High-Resolution Linear PCM Audio Recorder, however plug-in power is 5V in most cases and it can be assumed that this is the voltage available from this input.

Q: 8. Can you record voice on this?

A: The FiiO M11S High-Resolution Portable Music Player, BH # FIM11S, has no embedded microphone or external microphone port to create voice recordings.

Q: 9. Does this offer voice-operated recording?

A: The Sony PCM-D10 Portable High-Resolution Linear PCM Audio Recorder does not offer voice-operated recording.

Q: 10. Would you say pre-amp can do a comparable job as a Focusrite USB interface in making an XLR mic sound great??

A: Yes, the mic preamps in the Sony PCM-D10 Portable High-Resolution Linear PCM Audio Recorder are of good quality and the XLR inputs are capable of supplying phantom power, so you can connect any XLR microphone to the PCM-D10 that you would use with the Focusrite USB audio interface and you should get great results.

[16:9] We bought the cable to connect a computer with a HDTV. As always, the price was right with BH. It was a perfect fit for what we needed.

[E-Paper] Interesting cable. I have 2. I hooked up one and it worked perfectly. To cover the topic, it was behind an hdmi amp. I did not get a chance to hookup the second cable. Note: This cable comes with a screw driver to alter equalization (I think that is the correct term). Make sure to install the cable in the correct direction. Yes, this cable must be installed with the flow in the correct direction.

[3200 x 1800] This cable is very well built. The connectors feel rugged and very well designed. The built in amplifier is a added bonus for the 50' length. Images look great and the cable performed as expected. I would definitely buy from B&H and KanexPro again.

[Yes, Kensington] I bought this cable because in Canada it would have cost me $ for the same thing. In the end, I have no regrets. The cable simply works as it should and the default setting is working perfect. The cable is of excellent quality and flexibility. If you need to run long HDMI as I did, 4K, then you can't go wrong.

[16:9] It plugs into the projector and allow the Video man to walk with freedom all over the banquet hall with cord to spare.

[E-Paper] Even though VGA is outdated, it could still be run +100' then HDMI came in and 33' runs. Now obviously you can push it past 33' but not reliably. And especially with cheap HDMI patch cables on each side with two couplers. This is my go to HDMI for in wall non-plenum environments. A lot cheaper than a GOOD HDMI to Cat 6 active converter. I have used passive HDMI to Cat 6 (dual and single) converters and they are a waist of money in a professional environment. If you want to use it at home, sure. But if it's a client and you use a passive converter, you can kiss that client goodbye. He'll be calling me next, so Thanks. You have to watch out for which side you plug in to the source, but besides that it's great. Fits in an empty 1 conduit. I've never needed to turn the booster past 5. Good robust cable. It's not something you should be plugging directly into a laptop, but since it's active you can reliably add cheap HDMI cables and couplers and still push a signal through at Full HD. I've used the 75' also without problems.

[16:9] Very responsive (compared to my earlier e-ink monitors). The large real estate it comes with makes it great to read and annotate pdf ebooks.
Best gift I could give my eyes
