[Stainless Steel] Very easy to mount. Fit my Fujinon 15-55 to the Sony F55 like a glove.

[Stainless Steel] The build quality is excellent. Set ready and tough. To my surprise when I mounted both the 25mm and 35mm Red Pro Primes (Pl) you see the lens barrel making them unusable. The RPP 50mm, 85mm, and 100mm all look fantastic. Have not tried other wide angle PL lenses yet. May be fine with Zeiss as the Red 25 and 35 are both beasts of a lens

Exceptionally well made product. �Probably the most expensive adapter but you get what you pay for.

[Canon RF] I'm using this along with my MTF B4 converter with my Canon J9X5.2 lens mated to my Sony NEX FS700. It works like a charm. Very high quality in parts and workmanship.

[Stainless Steel] It fit perfect and worked great. I put it on a 1/3 JVC camera and installed a 17X Fujinon 2/3 lens and it worked great.

[Stainless Steel] I purchased this adapter to go on to my FS7 and make use of all the ENG 2/3 B4 lenses that I have. Its has a glass optic within giving you a 1.4 image magnification, there are cheaper versions around but with no glass optic. You have to flip in your doubler (2x extender) to fill the frame but it gives you the option to use a smooth zoomable ENG lens and get rid of the shocking 28-135 Sony lens (with the terrible zoom) that came with the FS7 package ..... In fact I sold the Sony lens which paid for most of this adapter ! It also enables you to remove the FS7 handle because you go back to slipping your right hand through the ENG lens and control zoom / iris and focus. The only thing you lose by removing the FS7 handle is the record button and two memory setting buttons but happy hitting the record button on the side of the camera. You will need to purchase the cable which powers your ENG lens from a D-tap power outlet (from my battery). The threaded screw that supports the mount and takes some weight and pressure off the adapter is way too long .... (I'm not sure what MTF were thinking when they included that ) I cut it back by 20mm and made sure the thread was still good and now if fits snug and allows me to place the camera down on the ground flat, whereas before the screw toppled the camera over to one side. Definitely worth the purchase if you have 2/3 lenses laying around.

[Canon RF] Having recently added a Fuji X-E3 to my Fuji camera collection (I also have an X-T1 and an X100), I was looking for a pancake prime lens in the “normal” focal length of 40-50 mm (full frame equivalent). Having grown up on fully manual 35 mm film cameras, I still enjoy an all metal, manual focus prime lens. On one of my Fuji discussion forums, a number of X-E3 owners highly recommended this lens. The price for this lens is less than I have spent for a quality UV filter for some of my expensive Fuji lenses, so it was a no-brainer purchase.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the lens arrived in perfect condition, solid metal construction, internals clean, glass clean, focus and aperture rings rotate smoothly and it mounted to the camera body solidly.

A much bigger surprise is the joy of use and image quality. My X-E3, with this lens, has a similar, but smaller form factor than my X100. It is far easier to focus than my two 7 Artisans manual lenses. Image quality is excellent, and although there is noticeable vignetting at f/2.8, I find it adds an artistic touch to my images. I’ve had experience with this focal length before (my first 35 mm film camera was a Canonet rangefinder with a 40 mm f/2.8 pancake prime) and I find the 42 mm full frame equivalent focal length to be far more useful as a general purpose lens than a 50mm, which I find just a tad too long for my style of photography.

The image I chose to attach to this review is a SOOC JPEG test shot in Acros at 12,800 ISO and f/2.8. I love the way this lens renders and it has quickly become my favorite manual focus lens.
