The nXe Series NXE4002 2-Channel 400W Power Amplifier with Programmable Outputs & Ethernet Control from Ashly is a Class-D switching amplifier combined with a switch mode power supply. This amplifier meets the requirements of demanding live sound and fixed installation sound systems in stadiums, arenas, performance venues, worship spaces, and convention centers.

The rear panel has DIP switches for programming each channel output for either High-Z or Low-Z operation. This amplifier can be connected to a network with Ethernet control and features serial data control, aux preamp outputs, instant standby mode, preset recall, fault condition logic outputs, and optional network audio and digital audio capability, all controlled using the Protea Software Suite (not included).

Q: 5. Why is this Marantz amplifier so expensive and it does not even have decent 4ohm performance. A lot of metal though.

A: This amplifier is not a stock item, and it is currently selling for list price. It's not for everybody.

Q: 6. how to bridge 4 speakers at 8 ohms?

A: I'm afraid I had to call the manufacturer in Canada - Alas now days weno longer have the luxury of manuals inside the box with the amp .I also have 4 speakers bridged at 8ohms but cannot remember theconfiguration with the connecting blocks.Once you get this set up you will be well pleased - This Is A terrific power amp - 10 stars PC LA

Q: 7. Will this amp work with Bose Virtually Invisible 191 Speakers? Some list this speaker at 6 ohm's. The spec for this amp list 4 or 8 ohm's not 6.

A: Yes, this would be compatible. Bose lists the specs of the Virtually Invisible 191 speakers as 100w @ 8 ohms, but this amplifier would be compatible with speaker that are 4 - 8 ohms.

Q: 8. Does the Ashly ne8250PE amp come with all the Euroblock connectors or do they have to be purchased seperately?

A: The Euroblock inputs are embedded into the rear chassis of the component. No Euroblock connectors ae included as separate DIY items for crimping/soldering onto your own wiring.

Q: 9. I do not see a headset jack. Can you monitor the output through a headset?

A: Unfortunately there is no headphone output available on the PVi8500.

Q: 10. Can this be powered by Ac input 220v?

A: This device 120V AC/60Hz only.
