The nX Series NX8004 4-Channel 800W Power Amplifier with Programmable Outputs from Ashly is a Class-D switching amplifier combined with a switch mode power supply. This amplifier meets the requirements of demanding live sound and fixed installation sound systems in stadiums, arenas, performance venues, worship spaces, and convention centers. The rear panel has DIP switches for programming each channel output for either High-Z or Low-Z operation.

Q: 4. How do you bridge the inputs so all 4 play the same sound ?

A: Bridge mode can be activated via a selector button on the back panel of the unit.

Q: 6. Can you supply this with power input of 240VAC 50Hz?

A: At this time we only carry the 120v version. You could use a step down transformer with it, such as BH #SEST1500UD.

Q: 7. how do you rack mount this amp?

A: Use a rack shelf.

Q: 8. Is there an aux cord? or would I need the usb cord and then an adapter to the phone?

A: The CDi2000 is designed for commercial installations. The inputs on this power amp are 3pin phoenix connectors. If you are looking to connect audio devices to the amplifier, it is recommended to do so with a mixer which can be wired with adapters to the phoenix connector inputs of the amplifier.

Q: 9. How loud do the fans get, do you hear them?

A: The Yamaha PX8 is made primarily for live sound reinforcement. In that environment, you would not hear the cooling fans in the PX8 amplifier.

Q: 10. can i install a separate volume control in the wall in another room ? if so is there a spec?

A: You can as long as it's able to handle the wattage. In this case it would be 100w per channel.
