The nXp Series NXP8002 2-Channel 800W Power Amplifier with Programmable Outputs & Protea Software Suite from Ashly is a Class-D switching amplifier combined with a switch mode power supply. This amplifier meets the requirements of demanding live sound and fixed installation sound systems in stadiums, arenas, performance venues, worship spaces, and convention centers.

This amplifier features Protea DSP processing for efficient control. The rear panel has DIP switches for programming each channel output for either High-Z or Low-Z operation. This amplifier can be connected to a network with Ethernet control and features serial data control, aux preamp outputs, instant standby mode, preset recall, fault condition logic outputs, and optional network audio and digital audio capability, all controlled using the included Protea Software Suite.

The amplifier offers 32-bit SHARC DSP processing (with 48 & 96 kHz sampling) for comprehensive audio processing and built-in signal generator for test tone and noise-masking. It also offers swept load impedance monitoring on each amplifier channel output.

Q: 2. Is this rack mountable?

A: The AudioSource AD1002 does not offer any rack mounting hardware, however can be rack mounted using a universal rack shelf such as the Raxxess UNS-1 1U shelf. https://bhpho.to/2hfRR7V

Q: 3. how to bridge 4 speakers at 8 ohms?

A: I'm afraid I had to call the manufacturer in Canada - Alas now days weno longer have the luxury of manuals inside the box with the amp .I also have 4 speakers bridged at 8ohms but cannot remember theconfiguration with the connecting blocks.Once you get this set up you will be well pleased - This Is A terrific power amp - 10 stars PC LA

Q: 4. how do you drive 25v output?

A: Not sure what you are referring to. Please send us your questions via e-mail: AskBH@a href= http://BandH.com target= _blank BandH.com/a

Q: 5. Can this be powered by Ac input 220v?

A: This device 120V AC/60Hz only.

Q: 6. Is there an aux cord? or would I need the usb cord and then an adapter to the phone?

A: The CDi2000 is designed for commercial installations. The inputs on this power amp are 3pin phoenix connectors. If you are looking to connect audio devices to the amplifier, it is recommended to do so with a mixer which can be wired with adapters to the phoenix connector inputs of the amplifier.

Q: 7. what kind of speakers to use with these?

A: This amplifier is designed for commercial installation systems that offer 70 or 100 volt taps.

Q: 8. Is this amplifier CE certified?

A: The Ashly TRA-4150 is Not only CE certified but Safety/Compliance: TUV, FCC, and RoHS.

Q: 9. Does the FA 125.2 have tone controls?

A: The Ashly FA-125.2 2-Channel Installation Amplifier does not feature EQ or tone controls.

Q: 10. Can you supply this with power input of 240VAC 50Hz?

A: At this time we only carry the 120v version. You could use a step down transformer with it, such as BH #SEST1500UD.

[Peak / average] I have been listening to this unit for about a year now. It's paired with Dynaudio Evoke system. I come from years of Car Audio SQ competition, and Home audio system. This has blown me away for the price vs. performance. This amp can beat the hell out of these speakers when asked...and stays poised the entire time. The SQ is amazing for the speakers price point.

[29 lb] Pared this with the Marantz AV7705 processor and couldn’t be happier. Clean powerful sound driving my Boston Acoustic VR-M90’s. Have battled for 14 years with a intermittent AC ground loop hum with my former Outlaw Audio equipment. Now, no more hum! Thank you Marantz!

[0 to 6 seconds] We are using this 2-channel amplifier to power 4 subwoofers wired in parallel, as the specs explicitly show support for our expected low-impedance setup and expected wattage.

Note the unit is 3 RUs tall, make sure there is enough space in the rack if replacing an expired amplifier.

The standard NEMA 5-15P (15 amp power plug) removable IEC included allowed for easy integration within our existing rack PDU setup.

The simple, tried-and-true analog input wiring and dip switches were easy to integrate with our DSP, set preferred mode and filters. The physical power switch on the front is nice for our use case.

The front dial appears to operate by digitally switching between gain steps, rather than a smooth analog potentiometer with physical start and stop limits. Not an issue for us but worth noting.

We were impressed with the power output this amp is capable of, allowing us to drive the connected subwoofers at higher power levels than the previous amp could achieve given our low-impedance setup. For the sake of intelligibility, we dialed everything back enough to make our desired sub shake felt-not-heard but balanced with the meeting space's intended audio sources.

[0.2 to 50 ms/dB] Great product for a home theater system. Seamless integration with A/V separates. Allows upgrade of processor while maintaining a strong audio experience. Couldn't be happier with the styling and performance. There are currently two of these units driving a 5.4.2 system while also pushing audio in a separate room.
