A: I've never worked with glass plates and I don't know their exact size and thickness. However, in an attempt to answer your question I tried loading the old ground glass from a few different view cameras. Some fit nicely; some wouldn't fit at all. It seems as if the largest that would fit is 3 7/8 x 5 , but that glass is relatively thick (3/32 - window glass). That's as helpful as i can be.
