The aluminum battery plate accepts a separately available, high-capacity Sony L-series/NP-F type battery to provide up to 12V power to your camera. It mounts onto your camera rig or cage using the included 1/4"-20 thumbscrew, and it features a power button and battery status LED indicators on the side.
