[Leica M] This adapter allows to use old SRL camera lenses in CCTV cameras, avoiding to buy expensive CCTV zoom lenses. I use a 80-200 mm Canon FD lens with perfect results.

[Leica M] This adapter is really well machined and attaches smoothly both to camera and lens—unlike the cheaper, more popular brands which felt really rough on the equipment. I also like that the shape makes it easier to grip while shooting. If you have an expensive Fuji GFX, this is the better choice.

[Leica M] Well made. FD lenses have an aperture trigger; with this adapter, you use an on - off ring to set the trigger after you mount the lens. I like this method.

[Leica M] I use this to adapt my 28-80mm Zoom and 500mm Canon FD lenses to a Hitachi VC370 NTSC video camera mounted to a 10 Meade LX200. C-mount side, screws on easily and the FD side has a bright white dot to indicate proper alignment of the lens. Simply attach and detach as you normally would your SLR lens.The drawbacks are that the unit is made of plastic, and seems like it could easily be overtightened (and subsequently stripped) when attaching a lens. It also does tend to unscrew slightly when removing a lens. Otherwise, the cost of this little adapter will save me hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars in replacement lenses for this little video camera.

[Leica M] Nearly any L39-LM adapter may be fine for film M, but for digital M, you need a Type II (e.g, Voigtlander Type II) adapter, or the camera will read no lens attached -- not an issue if you don't specify a lens profile or use LiveView. Rayqual's adapters are quasi-Type3: infinity-lock and digital-M compatible. More expensive, but cheaper than buying several that don't work correctly. Wish these were always in stock. Best option.

[Leica M] I bought two of these C-Mount adapters to use for a 3D SMD soldering system. I am using two Panasonic CCD video cameras that require a C-Mount lens. These adapters are to Canon FD, I am using two Canon macro 50mm f1:3.5 lens. The output of the cameras feed into a 3D mixer box which creates a 3D video HDMI signal that is sent to a 3D monitor. With this system I can solder the smallest SMD parts by hand without problem. The adapters were a required part of the system, and they work great. It is a solid secure lens to camera adapter. An the anodized aluminum looks great with the black lens and camera colors.
