[0.075 lb] Nearly any L39-LM adapter may be fine for film M, but for digital M, you need a Type II (e.g, Voigtlander Type II) adapter, or the camera will read no lens attached -- not an issue if you don't specify a lens profile or use LiveView. Rayqual's adapters are quasi-Type3: infinity-lock and digital-M compatible. More expensive, but cheaper than buying several that don't work correctly. Wish these were always in stock. Best option. 5

[Leica M] I used this for older lenses that will, at times, get slightly stuck or will not grip the lens enough for easy on / off to the M- mount. Works very well. 5

[Leica M] Used it on a Voigtlander Color-Heliar 75/2.5 MC L39 lens while waiting for a Voigtlander Ultron 75/1.9 MC VM lens. Didn't use the six-bit coding option (101101), but I could have. (Both lenses were surprisingly close in rendering and composition, although the older lens was slightly more telephoto, and the newer one is slightly more than a half-stop faster.) Adapter recommended. 5
