The LGB1110A features eight Gigabit-speed Ethernet ports. There are also two RJ45 / SFP combo ports available for Gigabit connections using either copper or fiber optic cables.

This switch delivers smooth data transfers with a 20 Gb/s switching capacity and 14.88 Mpps forwarding rate.

This switch supports full SNMP management and has a web-based management interface.

You can combine multiple ports to create a single high-bandwidth port using 802.3ad LACP aggregation. The switch supports up to 2 ports per group and up to 5 groups total.

The switch supports 1024 multicast groups. Broadcast/multicast/unicast storm control enables you to restrict excess traffic on your network. Plus it has IGMP (v1/v2/v3) for limiting bandwidth-heavy multicast traffic.

This switch supports up to 4000 simultaneous VLANs for isolating guest traffic from your critical corporate network traffic. You can segment traffic with port-based, 802.1Q tag-based, or MAC-based VLANs.

In addition to the switch's VLAN support, it boasts 802.1x port-based network access control for authenticating devices connecting to your network. The switch also supports SNMPv3 cryptographic security, SSH, and SSL for remote management via a connection that encrypts the packet content at each session. Plus, you can set up a guest VLAN that enables visitors to access the internet without also giving them access to the corporate network. By using its extensive ACLs, which support up to 256 entries, you can keep guests or unauthorized users from accessing sensitive portions of your network.

Featuring IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet, this switch scales down power consumption during periods of low data activity.

Q: 1. What are the specific MAC settings to get the most speed, using Mojave OS10.14?

A: Ethernet: 10GbaseT Duplex setting: Full-duplex MTU: Jumbo

Q: 2. Can you setup Wake On Lan through the Solo10G?

A: Yes, this device supports WoL.

Q: 3. The WFT-R10 batteries wear out fast, as one battery powers the cam and one battery powers the file transfer. Is issue fixxed?

A: The Canon BG-R20EP Battery Grip with Ethernet Port is not a wireless grip like the WFT-R10 is, so it does not have that issue. It can use the two batteries in the grip to power the camera.

Q: 4. Can this get AVB audio on Windows 11 (TB4)? Wanting to network with PreSonus mixers and stage boxes, prefer PC over Mac

A: The Sonnet Solo 10G Thunderbolt 3 to 10 Gigabit Ethernet Fanless Adapter with NBASE-T Support is AVB compliant, but it's only supported on Macs.

Q: 5. Does the battery grip come with 2 extra batteries?

A: No batteries are included with the Canon BG-R20EP Battery Grip with Ethernet Port.

Q: 6. Is there an adapter that will make this work with a thunderbolt 2 computer?

A: The Sonnet Solo 10G Thunderbolt 3 to 10 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter with NBASE-T Support B&H # SOLO10GTB3 is designed to work with Thunderbolt 3 only. For a Thunderbolt 2 adapter please see the Sonnet Twin 10GB&H # SOTWIN10G.

Q: 7. Is this Mac M1 compatible?

[8K] I was surprised how quickly I got support from NetGear. And how easy it was to make changes on the fly without having to rebuilt the switch from Factory Settings like other manufactures require you to do!

[Internal] Using a pair of these switches for church worship live streaming. We have had to adopt streaming due to the whole covid situation. So have setup a network to handle all connections between cameras, computers and audio sources for the streaming and wanted a high speed uplink between sound booth and stage. It is probably a little overkill but I did not want network bandwidth to ever be a questionable issue.
The switches are working great for us and the 10 Gig uplink is established through a 100 ft CAT6a cable. PoE available on all ports (except uplinks) and working great. The switch does take about 2 minutes to become operational on power up, so we have put in small UPS units to prevent interruptions in case of a power glitch.
Good feature at a nice price.

[Layer 2] This works perfectly. It is NOT plug and play. There is a little bit of set up involved. Super easy though. Once it's set up, you will experience faster speeds and better coverage throughout the whole house. Plus, you can set up a guest wifi and password so they do not have access to your main account.

[14.88 Mpps] I bought few of those to extend Ethernet ports that are built in the walls at our office. Plug and play operation and you have the ability to manage those switches as well. May not be needed but the price difference between unmanaged and managed wasn't that big. So far no complaints. I like the case being metal better than some plastic switches we bought in the past.
