A: The iRig Pre was designed for use with mobile devices like iPhones and iPads rather than a MacBook. You will have better results using a USB interface with a MacBook. The Behringer U-PHORIA UM2 Desktop 2x2 USB 1.1 Audio Interface (B&H# BEUM2) is another lower-priced option.
