The Flow Edge 2-Channel Rackmount 4K Up/Down/Cross Converter by SCIENCE IMAGE combines the adaptability of the popular Flow 4K and Flow 2 converters, condensing them into a single rack unit with centralized power. This simplifies the process of constructing a multi-source, multi-destination rack kit.

With Flow Edge, users can handle up to two channels of up/down and cross conversion for virtually any video format up to 4K at 60 fps, utilizing HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI connections. Each channel of the Flow Edge comes equipped with its own dedicated LED screen, menu control wheel, network port, video input/output, audio input/output, and power button. The Flow Edge is enclosed within a compact 1 RU, short-depth chassis.

A: This device will give you an analog composite or an RGB component output. We use this converter to feed the component input of our projector and it works great. If you only have a VGA input on your projector, you will need to convert the component signal to VGA before you can use it on your projector.

Q: 2. with this unit delay audio for me?

A: As a frame synchronizer and converter, the unit can be set to ensure that audio is adequately timed to sync with video stream.

Q: 3. This can take 2 different SDI input (ex. SD1-1 and SDI-2), then this two sources can out on 1 SDI-out?

A: This is a single input output device intended for signals that require multiple connections. It does not handle independent signals.

A: Yes, but I need analog out. Was hoping to do with one device with Audio In, SDI In, and Analog Out.

A: The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter SDI Distribution Will pass closed captions and any signal as it is with no change whatsoever. It is simply distribution.

Q: 9. Can this device output an ASI video signal? I am looking to convert HD-SDI to an ASI (MPEG Transport Stream) for use on television sets

A: The question has 2 parts to the answer. Yes, it will pass ASI if you put ASI in. No, it will not convert one type of signal (HDSDI, ASI) to another.

Q: 10. What streaming services are available for this device?

A: The HTC VIVE Flow VR Headset does not contain any operating system, and apps cannot be installed onto it. Instead it is a method of viewing content from a paired iOS or Android device, so you would be able to view any content that can play on your paired smart phone.

[1.3" OLED] perfect converter for what I needed. Just wish the documentation was a bit clearer for accessory's, I needed a power supply and a rack mount bracket to go with it. 5

[Fiber/HDMI/SDI] I have an unbalanced source and monitors that accept unbalanced or balanced inputs. I was using the unbalanced inputs and was picking up random computer noise. I picked up this unit to convert that unbalanced output to balanced right at the source, and it works perfectly and solved my noise problem. 5

[1.3" OLED] I'm using an AVR as a pre-amp to an external amp that has balanced inputs. The AVR only has unbalanced outputs, so I bought the LM2B to convert the AVR signal to balanced. The advantage in doing this is that the balanced signal is about 6db stronger than unbalanced, giving me lots of headroom, and the amp doesn't have to work as hard to get the volume I need. I did a lot of research on these converters, and the LM2B seems to have the strongest performance specs of all the ones I looked at. So far it works and sounds fantastic. Great solution for converting unbalanced signals in a home theater set up. 5

[1.3" OLED] These are perfect for my quasar lights i use these on my crossfades and my rainbows. you can screw these into anything and make your own mounts. i have them double stacked with a baby plate. 5

[1.3" OLED] WOW, with this little box you will be surprised, it has transformed my home theater 100 percent. My front mains LCR speakers have taken on new life, RCA pre-outs to XLR inputs on power amp now matched. No more ground loop noise, clean and clear audio sound with lots of dynamic range which I could not get with out it. I have two of them. JUST GREAT.
