[Full Frame] I got this NiSi lens with a few others to have in my kit for commercial and branded content work. The image is super clean and neutral which gives a lot of flexibility in the type of work I can do with it - whether corporate or something more artistic. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a versatile lens!

[10] I won’t say that the other reviewer is wrong, cause he very well could have gotten a bad one, but this PL adapter fits my 6k full frame perfectly. Extremely snug fit with minimal to no wiggle. Have to really pull at it to get wiggle. My Blazar Remus PL’s fit extremely well and snug on the adapter end (as they should since it locks). All in all it’s a perfect adapter for me.

[L-Mount] These lenses are phenomenal for the cost. If you've worked with a variety of the more budget-friendly cine lenses, you'll tell the difference as soon as you hold this lens, but then you'll be blown away as soon as you see it through the monitor. I've been putting my gfx100ii with one of these lenses in the hands of my filmmaker friends and asking for first impressions and watching their response echo my own says it all.

[7.4 x 5 x 5"] I've spent only a little time with this lens and really liking it. It's light and fairly compact (a little larger than the Sony kit 28-70 lens). Has nice bokeh. It's pretty sharp in the center. The build quality is good but not exceptional. It focusses well in most circumstances if a little noisily (I got used to the noise after a while). Generally, very pleased with the lens. Delivery was quick and no hassle.

[46.0 mm] Fits great with the Blazar Remus Anamorphic lenses with the R5C! Have had no issues with the mount seizing to the lens like I have seen in one or two reviews. I think as long as you don’t over tighten it you are good. Everything fits snug too so no play between the lens and the adapter or the camera. It even has a waterproof seal between the camera and adapter which is cool. Would recommend if you don’t need autofocus or ND.

[Full Frame] The NiSi PL adapter for DJI DL Mount is currently the lightest PL adapter out for the DJI system. This works perfectly on my Ronin 4D system. I'm using it to adapt Cinema and Anamorphic PL lenses. The NiSi Athena adapter works without any calibration needed, just remove the DL mount and install this and you are good to go. You do still need the DJI X9 Counterweight when adapting heavier lenses. Overall very happy as it works perfectly.

[77 mm] Recently got these lenses and have used them for almost two months across various projects, from commercials in New York to a short film in Miami. Here's what stood out:

[10] Coming from spherical lenses - the price tag might seems high - especially for a relatively unknown brand. But it’s actually very affordable compared to the competition !
Anything cheaper for full frame will fake some of the characteristic of anamorphic lenses, and have no or very low squeeze. I wish it had a 2x squeeze - but the 1.8 squeeze probably allow to slightly more affordable price - while being optimal for 16:9 sensors, that are most likely what you’ll use it on...
Paired with a A7siii the image quality is amazing !
I recommend pairing this with a monitor that allow you to see the desqueezed image, as it can be fairly hard to focus without it, and framing as well can be challenging.
For an anamorphic lens, it’s very sharp, even wide open, I mostly shoot at T4 though mostly because it can be challenging to nail focus with this kind of lenses, as they’re slightly softer than spherical (not in a bad way, image is very pleasing), similar to using a light diffusion filter.
Overall, I totally recommend this lens, hopefully we see a 2x version soon too !
Also, if you’re in a limited budget, I would recommend the 40mm MFT version paired with a Blackmagic pocket 4K... the package would come to $4500 vs $12000... for a little more than 1/3 of the price, result is very close. The A7siii has an edge in low light obviously but if you’re using even minimal lighting (which you should), it shouldn’t be an issue. The blackmagic has the advantage of having a bigger screen - easier to manually focus without monitor.
Both are fantastic combos - and a lot cheaper than Cooke paired with an Alexa ...

[46.0 mm] Been ulsing the drop in black mist filters on Athena Cine lenses, and they're awesome.
