A single USB-C 12" long cable connects to your host system, giving you a variety of ports including three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports for your peripherals. A: The SMK-Link USB-C Dual 4K Multi-Stream 12-in-1 Mini-Docking Station does not support external power.

Q: 5. Has there been any reports of the VP4150 having issues with maintaining connectivity with USB receiver?

A: We have not heard that connectivity is an issue with the SMK-Link RemotePoint Navigator RF Remote Presenter for PowerPoint BH #SMVP4150.

Q: 6. Why Not buy a $8.00 usb 3 cable to ssd /hdd aka sata cable I believe its called? Why is this $75? Does it do something that cable doesn't?

A: This is a much cleaner and neater set-up. Less clutter and chance of damaging a loose or stray cable or connector. Less wear and tear on all connectors too. Well worth it.

Q: 7. How many hours of use on one set of batteries?

A: The SMK-Link RemotePoint Ruby Pro (B&H # SMVP4592) only uses battery power when the buttons are pressed or the laser is activated. Per the manufacturer, a battery life specification is not available, but most users report 90+ days of use before needing to replace the batteries.

[1x HDMI 2.0] This docking station from Plugable works great with my MacBook Pro M2 and has all of the main ports I need when traveling. My only note of critique is when using the ethernet port, the activity indicator light is bright white. It feels like a dance party with flashing lights at times since the light is quite bright. I would prefer that light being less bright. 5

[1x HDMI 2.0] I didn't like my previous dock where the main connection cable goes out from the front, creating a mess on my small desk. This one has the main cable connecting from the rear, where it can partially hide in the back. It also has an actual power button so that my lighted keyboard won't remain on. There's also no annoying side ports, a plus in my setup. One of the few knocks is that there isn't enough USB ports. The headphone port is out on the front, which is unfortunately way too common in docking stations and makes cabling traditional computer speakers a challenge. As a reminder, the dock cannot magically grant access to more than one external monitor on basic Mac computers. It's fine for me since I don't intend to use more than one external monitor for my Macbook Air M1. 5

[0.455 lb] This is a nice tool to have on hand for my 2015 MacBook. It provides additional USB connections and gives the capability to connect the computer to ethernet, etc. I didn't realize I couldn't use it directly connected to this older laptop so I needed to order another adapter to use this docking station. I called B&H directly and the gentleman was very helping in finding the adapter that I needed. I have always had great service with B&H since the '80's when I shopped with them for my professional film cameras! 5

[1x HDMI 2.0] This dock replaced a previous from a different manufacturer, which would glitch/freeze up and need restarting. So far (months later) this unit has been boringly predictable, offering consistent performance. It has the connectivity we need, and the price was good. And from a dock (or any other kind of infrastructure hardware) isn't that what you want? 5

[0.455 lb] This dock works very well for what I'm using it for. With a single USB C connection, I can connect to the dock and keep my laptop charged at the same time. The dock is connected to a mouse and USB keyboard and a 15 FHD portable monitor as a second screen. Very convenient. Especially for the price 5
