Record up to two people to your USB-C mobile device in mobile journalism or content creation applications using the pink Comica Vimo S UC Wireless Microphone System for Mobile Devicesfrom Comica Audio. The system includes two transmitters with built-in omnidirectional microphones and one dual-channel receiver as well as a charging case to take them on the go. It delivers reliable transmission with a less than 20 ms latency up to 656' via 2.4 GHz wireless band. Clips on the back of each transmitter allow you to attach them to the lapel of a shirt, while the plug-in receiver attaches directly to the USB-C port on your device of choice, which also supplies it with power.

Embedded de-noise technology and mute functionality can be controlled with the transmitter's onboard button. The dual-channel receiver features both mono and stereo modes as well as a stepless gain knob to make volume adjustments. A back clip on each transmitter makes it easy to attach to your subject. [Pink] I almost never write reviews, but this lav kit deserves one. I'm a commercial/ecomm/biz dp that does a ton of direct to camera stuff with clients and talent. I wanted a more lightweight option for location shoots, or if a client decided on set that they want two people on camera. This is a really nice solution there. As a guy that literally wears out gear, durability is something I look for right off the bat. These bodies are full aluminum and come in a really nice Pelican-like case. I've used this setup on 4 very different shoots the past couple weeks, with absolutely zero dropouts or weirdness of any kind. Inside, outside, and even in a super congested outdoor location. Not one drop. There's options out there with internal batteries...in a professional environment those are not as good as models like this that take replaceable batteries. If you're on set and one goes dead, I'd rather have the option of popping in fresh batts - as opposed to plugging it into a battery brick or charger for a few hours. Anyways, I've used a handful of other lav systems and felt very lukewarm about them. This set has every feature I was looking for, yet simple enough to pick up and be rolling in minutes the first time. Really a great bargain for a two transmitter kit. Highly recommend! 5

[Pink] This is such a great little mic for a great price. Plus it works right out of the box. My only thought is......if your phone is in a case, the connector will not connect. I bought a lightning extension for $8 and now it works perfectly without taking the phone out of it's case. 5

[Yes] I use this system with my local church Zoom stream and they have never failed me. Solid, simple and dependable. Simply plug and play. Comica immediately shows up in the Zoom audio settings on my MacBook. Unfortunately it's not possible to control levels of each TX from the RX unit. Storage box charges system. Good for 4 hours or more. Charging the storage box once a month is enough. Never forget to turn off each unit before placing in charging box. If not they'll drain the battery and won't be usable until full charged, reset and re-paired. I use in simplex mode and stereo where each mic is separated in Zoom as left and right. Highly recommended. 5

[Yes] It worked fine. Not only was the pick-up range good, but I also had plenty of AA battery juice left. I could not mount it on my camcorder so I used industrial velcro. Great buy. 5

[Pink] Full disclosure, I haven’t used these wireless devices on a ‘job’ yet. However, I did test them and I was surprised by the results. The audio is clear and the range was quite good. Even when the subject was out of the line of sight (in different rooms etc ). The real surprise was the build quality. The housings are metal! We’re so used to plastic that anything that isn’t made out of it is shocking. The display is very easy to read and I really like the battery compartment. It sounds like a little thing, but when you’re knee deep in the stress of a wedding and you need to change batteries, it’s the little things that matter. There’s a kind of ‘pinch’ mechanism that allows for quick access to the battery compartment and it locks back in place when the new batteries are installed. Overall, I’d have to say that I’m very impressed with this product. Hopefully, I’ll remain this impressed when I actually put them in service. 5

[Yes] Just got my lapel mic system. Charged up one of the mics and it only took a few minutes out of the box. Once I connected the receiver to my phone, I tested it by recording on the phone while I walked away into the next room. The recording sounded great and worked perfectly! As I said in the title, so far so good! 5
