[Single-Sided] I use it with my underwater box for videocamera. It is very useful

[0.6 MOD] I use this FF with my T2i, Nikon primes, Redrock lens gears, and Zacuto SLR base plate and it works great. Using the shorter Nikon primes, its an issue getting the FF close enough to the camera in order to use it. With this FF you can switch which side the gear is on, enabling you to get the FF very close and use shorter lenses. The build quality of this product is very good. Its aluminum construction keeps it light weight for smaller rigs but is heavy duty enough to handle the rigors of everyday shooting. Lastly, the price was perfect for me as an independent film maker. This is the most inexpensive professional FF I've found and I couldn't be happier with it.

[Single-Sided] I use this on my Canon HF G10 video camera. It has proven itself to be very usable to stabilize video shoots with it. The size lends itself to be very controllable without the use of counter weights of other systems. Certainly the counter weight systems are useful in many if not all situations however if those systems are too cumbersome or restrictive then this is one to use. The Canon HF G10 uses a flash drive so it is not a heavy camera making it easy for this grip to handle. The single hand-grip is made of sturdy molded plastic and the attachment and pivot points are well made with a mix of chrome plated high tensile steel and high carbon steel where they count. This type of hand grip is very hard to come by as a lot of available hand grips are either part of a counter weight system or mounting system for lights, microphones, etc. In summary this is a well made, high quality single purpose accessory that deserves support from the motion and still photography community. It is easy to use and its cost is very reasonable in considering its quality. I am a firm believer in the saying that you pay for what you get. The only thing wrong about this item is that it is not always available for immediate purchase. A possible testament to its popularity? Perhaps.

[Aluminum] I'm really impress with the quality and precision of this follow focus, it fits perfectly with Rokinon Cine DS lenses. This was just another great investment I did.

[Aluminum] i have wanted, been dreaming of a follow focus for years not but could never justify the high price for a decent entry level one. finally after poking around i found the cavisions basic follow focus however i wanted more flexibilty and for a little more i got this one. I will note by little more it was relevant to me as it was onsale when i bought it. I after useing this follow foucs i was suprised by its sturdness of the multi position arm. you do not have to over crank the knob to get the arm rock solid. hand tight and a quarter turn is all you need and this baby is locked into position. i read another review priasing this model but saying they couldnt figure out what the lower hex stud adjusts and they cant figure out how to adjust the lower arm. this is not true and all you questions are answered by reading the instructions supplied with the ff. i cant find any noticeable play or backlash in the knod and the gear. it responds to my very touch. just a great unit, fits snug on the rails locks down and does a great job. i should note that it grabs teh rails to well, even when released you really have to work it free in order to reposition it.

[0.6 MOD] For the cash this follow focus can't be beat. I am currently using it with Rokinon cine primes and it does the job perfectly.

[Aluminum] This little follow focus is perfect for a DSLR setup. Only con is getting the right gear to work with what ever lens gear you own...
