A: Hi, I bought this D-ring about six months ago thinking I would be able to switch between plates and move my camera from my tripod to my gimbal quickly. Unfortunately the head on this D-ring was to thick and wouldn't give me enough clearance between the plate and the tripod head. This was just my experience with this product. Maybe you'll have better luck. I was also using the 504 long.

Q: 4. Can anyone tell me the diameter for un-threaded shaft section? I need to find an e-clip or circlip to fit this screw.

A: The diameter of the unthreaded shank extending from the head is 0.180 inches.

Q: 5. I'm a little reluctant to purchase this because it's not air cushioned. I tend to be clumsy at times. I don't want it to come slamming down and break my flash. Anyone have any scares with this one?

A: I found this to not only be a great buy but stable and sturdy. I use battery powered LED lights and it is perfect.

[Metal] I am starting a YouTube channel and audio is one of the integral components in facilitating success. However due to my living situation, I am literally a few feet away from an incredibly busy and noisy street. Naturally while listening to the recordings, you can hear vehicles passing by in the background every couple of seconds. This was very frustrating. Like a God send, the DEITY VO-7U, no pun intended, being a cardioid microphone, all the distracting noises weren't even registering anymore. It is a perfect fit for my problem. Keep in mind, the design is amazing, the white color is radiant and not dull like off white colors. AND It has it's own custom light show.... It's practical, stylish, the audio is super clear and doesnt cost an arm and a leg! How can you beat this? 5

[Black] Wow! Excellent quality, makes stills or video shooting a joy! High quality materials, excellent design, ergonomic and universal. The leather is of very high quality that makes you want using it. Size is suitable for gripped DSLR-s easily and allows mounting more stuff, e.g. a mike on its top. I use it with the the "ProMediaGear Bracket or Strap or Holster Arca-Type Clamp", since I already have a RRS L bracket mounted. Want to stress the ProMediaGear modular approach. This makes me revisit my priority on the L bracket towards ProMediaGear. 5

[Black] Used with HD6 AudioEngine bookshelf speakers. They are function and fashion together. I wanted the speakers to be lifted slightly. These stands tilt and lift a few inches. Not cheap...but price was not the issue. The appearance and function are there. 5
