Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. do i need to drain the water?

A: No, the unit is set up to have the water evaporate into the air.

Q: 2. Can the 50L fit a canon 70-200mm?

A: Yes, the Ruggard EDC-50L Electronic Dry Cabinet (Black, 50L) will fit a Canon 70-200. A 70-200 lens is usually 8 inches long and the 50L is 11 inches wide so it will fit.

Q: 3. Can this be used to "bake" analog tapes that the surface of the tapes become sticky and then gum-up the tapes heads and the tape won't play. It's usually done at 130 degrees for a few hours. ?

A: Unfortunately, the EDC-80L hasn't been tested for this specific use. The results may vary.

Q: 4. How close can these units be to a back wall while still being effective ?

A: The Ruggard EDC-125LC Electronic Dry Cabinet (Black, 125L) should be 6" away from the wall so the vents are not blocked.

Q: 5. 120l dimensions

A: The Ruggard EDC-120L Electronic Dry Cabinet (120L) is, Interior Dimensions (W x H x D) 14.9 x 37 x 14.1" / 37.8 x 94 x 35.8 cm Exterior Dimensions (W x H x D) 15 x 40 x 15.4" / 38.1 x 101.6 x 39.1 cm

Q: 6. Can the 80-L be stacked three high with the shelves in full use?

A: You may be able to stack the Rugged Electronic Dry Cabinet at your own discretion. However, it is recommended to put a ¾ or 1” piece of plywood between each unit, and possibly create a frame to support the units.

Q: 7. Iwould like to use it for spice storage. is there any way to install slide-out spice racks?

A: No. The following unit offers fixed racks and do not slide out.

Q: 8. can I store my lenses and camera in the Rugged without first putting them in the lens or camera?

A: Response: I store all of my camera lens's detached from the camera bodies. However, I see no issue with having the lenses attached if you prefer.

Q: 9. Do you put batteries in this? I have a v mount battery for my bmpcc. Is it safe to put in the cabinet?

A: Yes it is safe for storing batteries too.

Q: 10. I set the humidity at 44%, but it always shows between 43-35%. IS this right? I am not sure what the humidity is in my room, however, even if it's between 32-35%, does this storage increase humidity, or it can only lower humidity levels?

A: The dry cabinet cannot add humidity, it can only remove it. So if the relative humidity of the room is less than 44%, the cabinet will be less than 44% too.

[N/A] This is the best Drum Pad Ive ever seen or used.
Simplicity makes it great....no menu (no aggravation)...reverb/distortion, volume, tuning, and selection knobs...and a little button that will give you an alternate sound to each setting.
Its almost like analog and fun to use...and its currently not all that expensive.
A mono output on the back panel and a stereo headphones out - also on the back panel - (which I use to connect to a mixer with a 1/4 TRS to Double !/4 TRS Cable).
It solves a lot of percussion problems - if you lack a drummer at times or all the time.

[N/A] Bought this to try and liven up my acoustic duo sound. It doesn't disappoint.
The pad is sensitive enough to only have to tap lightly. Its something I do anyway but now I have a little bit of kick drum in the mix....

[N/A] I bought this item from last week and I'm currently using it to my Yamaha DD65. It is so amazing that my double pedal works too, and it has a volume adjustment that I can control in the back and touch sense with low noise rubber pad when I'm hitting it.. Im enjoying this tower kick. Its like a real acoustic. Rock on!

[N/A] This is my second KP65, I bought the second one so I don't have to move the one I use for studio work at home, I've owned it over 10 years and have never had one problem with it! I play on a drum kat and this is the kick pad of choice for me! The other kick pads I used in the past didn't hold up, but this one always has, and it cost only a fraction of the others. Hands down THE Best Deal you will find, and will outlast the the other brands!

[12 x 4"] you're not going to win any style points by using this, and if you're in a room above someone (apartment complex, etc), the down-firing beater transmits directly into the floor, so you may want to avoid this. Beyond that, however, it works perfectly fine, and doesn't take up much space. This is my second KD7, the first of which stopped responding to soft hits after about 3 years of abuse (5+ days a week, 2-4 hours a day, on average). I imagine I could've gotten away cheaper w/ a piezo replacement, but I figured I'd order a new one and try to fix the old one eventually. Anyhow... works great.

[12 x 4"] I use this unit with an old beat up td5 as my second kick mixed into the first. Came with the reverse beater (not the pedal in case you are readin this) and was readily adaptable to any pedal. Seriously happy with it, NO ISSUES!

[N/A] The only Roland trigger pad that was developed in the early 90's and still being sold today - and for good reason. The rock solid design, the impeccable tracking, and feel just can't be beat - even 20 years later. Leave it to B&H to sell it at price point others can't even touch.
