This Peak Design Leash Camera Strap Coyotein coyote, from Peak Design has anchor links so you can quickly and easily detach a connected camera, to move it to a tripod, or connect another camera to the strap. Each anchor link is rated to hold 200 pounds and creates a durable, snap-in or snap-out connection point to the strap eyelet on a wide variety of cameras. The strap is 0.8" wide and has an adjustable 32.6 to 57.1" length. Integrated adjustment loops allow you to quickly adjust the length while in use.

Constructed with twist-resistant nylon webbing, you can use it as a neck, shoulder, or cross-body strap whether you are right- or left-handed, draped from one shoulder to the opposing hip. When used along with an anchor link, the included anchor mount creates a connection point using the camera's 1/4"-20 bottom accessory thread. By attaching the leash along the bottom accessory thread and using one strap eyelet instead of two, your camera can be made to consistently face forward while against your hip, reducing the time needed to raise it to your eye to capture the shot.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this come with the new version 4 anchors?

A: Yes. I bought this and can confirm that it ships with the Version 4 anchors which only have the Peak Design label on 1-side only.

Q: 2. Is the slide or slideIite better for mirrorless with telephoto/super telephoto lens?

A: I use various PD straps with the heavy telephotos like the 70-200mm and 200-500mm Nikkors on my D500 and Z6. When I do, I attach the tabs to the lens and use the strap to hold the lens, not the body. This makes for a more secure carry and relieves the weight of a heavy lens on the lens mount.

Q: 3. I have Version 2 of this strap, and found that the material used to construct the slip-resist side melts and loosens in hot weather, staining the shoulders of my t-shirts. It is impossible to remove the stain. It looks like the design has changed; has the material used to construct it also changed? And HOW do I remove the stain?!

A: So, I took the strap to the Peak Design booth at last year's PhotoExpo (2018) and they acknowledged that there had been a problem with silicone leaks in hot-weather circumstances. They said the problem had been addressed and very graciously replaced my Version 2 with Version 3, for free. I found, though, that while stains are fewer, it still will stain clothes in hot weather. The silicon chips themselves are dyed to match the color of the strap. So, maybe I need to trade the black strap for the ash-colored one. Will be heading out to this year's PhotoExpo today, and will stop by the Peak Design booth to see what they can do.

Q: 4. This strap has smooth and non-slip sides. So it is reversible and you can choose which one you want. But if you choose non-slip, those two quick-adjusters will be on the body side. These adjusters will hurt and wont adjust. Is this correct or I am missing something?

A: I use this strap with my Nikon D850 and I think it is the best strap I have ever used. It is very comfortable with either side out and the adjustments are convenient in or out as well. The two inch wide webbing easily supports the weight of the camera for long days. The quality is excellent and I will be buying a second one in the near future.

Q: 5. The strap comes with a base plate. What tripod quick release system is it compatible with?

A: The connecting plate included in the box with Peak Design Slide Camera Strap (Midnight Blue) is not for tripod mount purpose. This connector allow you to attach one side of the strap on the camera base mount 1/4-20 female thread, which allow a more confortable position for shoulders. If you need a plate which also connects to your tripod you can use the following option: 1- Manfrotto RC2 and Arca-Type Compatible. Q: 6. why is the gripper on the outside of strap?

A: The following strap offers a non slip design on both inside and outside of the strap. Half nonslip on the outside neck area and full nonslip on the inside of the strap.

Q: 7. Does this include the V4 anchors?

A: We are still working through stock on our straps with V3 Anchors, though if you get V3 Anchors you can request the new V4 versions if needed here: a href= https://www.peakdesign.com/anchorupdate target= _blank https://www.peakdesign.com/anchorupdate/a

Q: 8. Does this come with the hex wrench and carry bag?

A: A microfiber pouch and a 4mm hex wrench are included with this strap.

Q: 9. Dos this strap slip through the lugs of Fujifilm X T3 without removing the inner metal ring?

A: Yes, they will fit.

Q: 10. Question about the little connector slider plates: how sturdy are the strings? Can these be easily cut? I know the carry weight is substantial.. I'm thinking in terms of theft. Thanks!

A: The strings are sturdy BUT they can be cut easily. This strap holds a lot of weight but it is not slated as an anit theft strap.

[Nylon] It’s a quality strap and I love how the clip system works. It makes things super customizable, even on my old film cameras. Recommended!

[Nylon] I’m so glad the size came along because I was finding that the larger straps for a bit more than I needed for a smaller body and prime lens kit. An Xpro 3 balances is nicely and is easily controllable cross body with quick adjustments.

[0.305 lb] Super sleek and flexible camera strap. Love being able to take it on and off with the anchor points. Highly recommend!

[Nylon] I’ve used this strap on my camera and my binoculars. I bought additional Anchors to attach to my binoculars so I can easily switch between whichever item I am using on the day. Adjusting the length of the strap is a piece of cake. Great quality and I love the colour (I got Ash). I could have got a wider strap but didn’t need it and my camera and binoculars are small and light. Also means it rolls up into a small package for easy storage (such as in my pocket or a pocket in my Sling bag.

[0.305 lb] I have been a fan of PD since I invested in their Courier bag and their Kickstarter campaign. The leash is the perfect accompaniment to my lighter-weight Leicas.

[0.305 lb] The leash is very practical and the fact that it comes with two pairs of anchors is really a plus, I set them on two of my favorites cameras and can switch them as fast as lightning. I am considering on getting more anchors

[0.305 lb] This matches my Olympus Pen-F camera, which is mostly silver, perfectly. The strap is also more narrow than most and does not overpower the mirrorless Pen. Easy on off because of the clips that can be slid out of their holsters.

[Nylon] These are well made and engineered camera straps for all of my cameras from Fuji, Lumix, Olympus, Sony and Nikon. I prefer the smaller size of the Leash Straps, rather than the full size models. The bigger ones are much too awkward to feel comfortable using. I sold my 2 full size versions and will keep buying these leash straps. I have been using the Peak camera carrying system for about 5 years now and I never experienced any problem or failure of these straps. Being able to quickly remove your strap with the Anchor system is a big help also. I can then move the camera to a copy stand or tripod as needed. You won't get better quality for even more money.
