The Sirui VH-10 Fluid Video Head, pronounced Soo-Ray, the VH-10 is a precision-machined aluminum video head that supports up to 13.2 pounds. It features a fixed spring counterbalance that helps bring the head to a neutral position and variable tilt drag with 0 drag for fast tilt positioning; pan drag is preset and fixed. The pan and tilt locks allow you to set a shot, and lock off the head so it doesn't move, for lock-off shots.

The Manfrotto compatible sliding Quick Release (QR) plate helps to balance your camera, and the head comes with a safety lock for the QR plate. The head features 2 x bubble levels, and the VH-10 Video Head can be mounted to available ball adapters, tripods, and other camera supports, not included, via the 3/8" threaded female receiver on the flat base.

Precision machining and forged aircraft aluminum body provides a rugged, reliable head that weighs less than two pounds.

The fixed spring counterbalance works to return the fluid head to its neutral position.

Individual pan and tilt locks allow you to lock one axis without affecting the movement of the other.

The VH-10 head can be mounted on available flat base tripod legs. Available adapters, not included, allow you to mount the fluid head to tripods with a 75mm bowl.

[±90°] Love it!!! 5 's would give more if I could. Excellent build quality, exactly what I was looking for. purchased a Manfrotto 502 and returned it, just too bulky and didn't feel right. This Sirui is silky smooth and counterbalance is perfect for not too heavy rig. Light/medium weight camera setup is perfection! Recommend 10 out of 10. Pan drag settings are so smooth! I would definitely buy another. 5

[Yes] I bought this to use with a Panasonic GH4, prime lenses and a rig. I was looking for a 501PL compatible fluid head with the right amount of counterbalance, and I absolutely got what I wanted. The build quality is great, and the fluid motions are very smooth. I bought a VH-10 as a companion but was not satisfied with it because the QR clamp was smaller than on the VH-15 and would not fit certain of my third party plates (Sachtler, Gitzo and Manfrotto). In comparison, the VH-15 is much bigger than the VH-10 and for anything other than travel the one to get, in my opinion. I discovered an important incompatibility for the Sirui plates, however, and want to warn everyone. SIRUI PLATES WILL FALL OUT FORWARD ON A MANFROTTO 577!!! Obviously this could potentially cause grievous damage to your gear, so don't mix them! The issue is that the tab underneath the Sirui plates does not protrude far enough towards the center to be fully compatible with the 577; the Sirui safety stop is further to the side than the Manfrotto. The Sirui plates will still safety-stop on my Sachtler Ace base plate and Gitzo G2380 head, but will pass without a hitch right through my Manfrotto 577... My strategy for dealing with this is simply not to use the Sirui plate, ever. If you get this head, I suggest you test the plate with any and every other clamp you own, and if it does not catch on any of them, don't use the plate. 5

[±90°] I bought this fluid head primarily for use in landscape and wildlife photography. It's been on my tripod for a couple of months now and I love it. Pan and tilt is smooth and it locks down fine. I had considered the Manfrotto, but I'm glad that I went with the Sirui instead. I'd buy it again. 5
