[Metal] This is a very durable, thick material. There are some nice pockets inside and out. The ends are thick. Sure if you want to toss it around you may break your stands. I don't toss around my stands and can get a lot in here. 5

[Chrome] You just can't beat the value of this case for the gigging drummer. I own over a dozen of these SKB drum cases and have yet to tear one up. My bass player ran over one and drug it several feet before he realized something was wrong. It did not hurt my snare ...repeat there was no internal damage to this drum! I highly recommend SKB products and limited life time warranty. Running over it with the Band Bus doesn't count guys! 5

[Metal] This kit is perfect, and for an excellent price. The mics sound fantastic and offer some flexibility not found in the usual suspects when it comes to drum mics. For example, the kick mic having two phase aligned capsules and being able to record each simultaneously and then mix them to taste. is wonderful in practice It also offers a few different sound flavor settings depending on how you are using it. The overheads are small and light, and also offer a couple of options. I've used an SM57 on snare for decades so I'm very familiar with it, but I really like the similar sound of the snare mic. The build quality is extremely good, and it comes in an awesome heavy duty case to keep everything tidy and safe and sound when not in use. I really couldn't be much happier with this kit in relation to my old setup ((C314s, Beta 52, SM57, e604s) and the only thing I can think of that I don't like is that the clip holders for toms/snare are a bit tough to get on relative to the e604 holders. I highly recommended the Lewitt Beatkit Pro. 5

[Metal] Really impressed with the quality of this bag, especially for the prices; material, stitching, and zipper are really good. Have it holding 2-42 strip banks, 1-36 Octo, 1-32 softbox, 1-52 softbox, and speed rings. 5
