[1.17 lb] Love this lens! I own a video production company and prior to this had the Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM and hated it. Pulling focus with a STM lens is the most terrible thing you can try to do. Pulling focus with this is super smooth and since it is longer as well it is very precise. Build feels nice and the hood snaps into place real well. Ran some tests to see how it preformed with sharpness, contrast, vignetting, and color and liked the results. Would never shoot wide open at f/1.4 unless I wanted that crazy look, but stopping down to f/2.0 gets rid of a lot of vignetting and is totally usable. The sharpness is super good all the way from f/2.0 all the way up. Great value for the money!

[Nikon Z] This is a superb lens. Very high quality, deadly fast, and very quiet. I use in on a Nikon D700 and can take pictures outside at night with fast shutter speeds with complete clarity. Highly recommended!

[Nikon Z] I've read reviews stating that this lens is soft. As it is manual focus, perhaps they mis-focused? Or got a duff one? My pics are as sharp as I could want them to be - pixel peeping and using a 47mp Z7.
This lens is super fun to use and I use it for subject isolation w/o needing to stop down.

[Nikon Z] Super fun to use. Good image quality and lightweight but also seems to be pretty sturdy. I've only used it for photos so far but plan on using it for video soon. Inexpensive too which is a major plus. Highly suggested. And insanely fast shipping from B&H.

[1.17 lb] I use this for my short films, weddings and street photography. People really are underestimating Mr. Samyang. I use this beautiful lens on my 6d and 70d.I like the look and feel of lens. It's big and is a blast to manual focus! I perfer manual focusing instead of auto focus. I also love the price! I haven't found anything I did not like about this lens. I also purchased the 85 & 35mm samyang. No complaints here.P.S. The aperture is adorable. I set my camera to video mode to take pictures with this lens. That is how it works for me. I'm sure there are other ways.

[Nikon Z] Just placing this in your hand and dialing the settings will give you some indication of the high quality associated in every way with this lens. Coming from the 8x10 sinar P for years, it is now fun to experience the flexible creative aspects of this lens on my S1R Lumix. High resolution mixed with f 1.4 aperture and true tilt gives graduated focus fall off and a true bokeh that is extremely pleasing to eye. This lens , in addition to being landscape capable is simply fun to experiment with as are all of the other 5 TTArtisan lenses I own. (P.S. I own 6+ great Lumix lenses that are totally different beasts )

[Nikon Z] I have been wanting a tilt lens for a while. I have another TTArtisan lens and really like it. This lens is just as good. Well made, easy to use and really fun end results.

[Nikon Z] I had tried simpler Lensbaby lenses but never really liked the basic ones because they were too fidgety. I suppose the composer pro might have improved results, but this is a far superior product for roughly the same money.
