The Tiffen 5x6" Cool Blue Soft-Edge Filterhelps to specifically add a cool, purplish-blue coloration to skies and other bright areas of an image while allowing a portion of the image to remain neutrally colored. The filter's coloring is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a soft-edged transition between the density and clear areas. The 5 color density provides more cool blue coloration than the 4 density filter.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 5 x 6" / 127 x 152.4mm.

Note: A vertical orientation filter's line of transition runs parallel to the short side of the filter.

A: While it should be compatible, the answer will depend on the lens you own, not which camera you own. As the Sony Alpha a7II Mirrorless Digital Camera uses interchangeable lenses, we would first need to know which lens you own (or the filter thread size for your lens) to see if there is an adapter ring compatible for your lens' filter thread size.
