The blue Kopul 3000 Series XLR Male to Female Mic Cable 10'is designed to be an extremely quiet and flexible cable that is ideal for the most demanding live sound and performance applications. The cable is engineered to be durable and provide protection against EMI, RFI, and static noise. While the cable's color-coding affords the ability to quickly differentiate between multiple connections onstage, it provides a pleasant aesthetic quality at the same time.

Premium Performance 3000 Series cables are made from 24-AWG OFC copper wire that's wrapped with PE insulation and a conductive PVC inner shield. A cotton-yarn inner layer helps reduce electrostatic and microphonic noise. The 95% dual-spiral shielding makes the cable resistant to EMI and RFI noise. The Neutrik XX silver connectors provide a high level of connectivity, and all the solder connections are shrink-wrapped for protection.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you tell me the outside diameter of the cable jacket?

A: The outside diameter (thickness) of the cable is approximately 6mm (0.24").

Q: 2. Is this a balanced cable?

A: Yes, all XLR cables are balanced.

Q: 3. Can you "daisy chain" these extenders by connecting two male or two female extenders via Cat 5?

A: Each Kopul 4-Channel XLR Network Cable Extender only has a single RJ45 port, so they cannot be daisy chained.

Q: 4. Fixing the XLR gender being wrong with adapters, will these extenders pass audio in both directions on the Ethernet cable?

A: XLR is not de-facto a directional medium, which is to say that it's really just a set of three pins with copper wire in between. Audio can only flow one way from an XLR connector to another, but it doesn't actually matter which direction that is. So, if for some reason you have audio passing from male jack 1 of the Kopul 4-Channel XLR Network Cable Extender Kit to female jack 1, that will work fine. You just can't have audio flowing both ways at the same time between two connectors.

Q: 5. What is the length of this cable?

A: The Roland RCC-10-USXF cable is 10 feet long.

Q: 6. Does the length, 1' for example, include the connector or is it 1 foot of cable plus the connector. Doing some patching in the back of a rack and want to avoid gobs of extra cable but it needs to reach.

A: The length refers to the cable itself, not including connectors.

Q: 7. Are these ok to use with a set of Alto TS310 speakers???

A: Yes the Alto speakers work with any XLR cable, the Kopul cables are a good option.

Q: 8. Is the given cable length the length between connectors?

A: The stated length of the Kopul Premium Performance 3000 Series XLR Male to XLR Female Microphone Cable (2', Black) is connector tip to connector tip as opposed to only the cable length in between.

Q: 9. what is a good pin mic to use?

A: Shannon, the Shure SM58 is a great choice and you can purchase a new one for $99.Craig

Q: 10. Is the Kopul 4000 Series more flexible or less flexible than the Kopul 3000 Series?

A: Kopul 4000 series is a little bit less flexible than Kopul 3000 series because it has more shielding than Kopul 3000 series.
