  • 24mm Hasselblad Wide-Angle: The 20MP Hasselblad camera remains, with its adjustable f/2.8 to f/11 aperture and large 4/3 CMOS sensor for reduced noise in low-light situations. It offers 5.1K video resolution at 50 fps and incorporates the Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS) to capture and produce true-to-life colors in your media. When post-processing, you can use D-Log, D-Log M, and HLG.
  • 70mm Medium Telephoto: The new camera in the tri-cam system, this 48MP lens offers an f/2.8 aperture and 1/1.3" CMOS for excellent day and night shots. Video is captured in 4K at 60 fps, and you can get clearer midrange shots with a 3x optical zoom. D-Log M and HLG are supported for efficient post-production, and it's capable of taking advantage of Night, ActiveTrack, and Hyperlapse shooting modes.
  • 166mm Telephoto: This 12MP full telephoto lens returns, but with an updated aperture of f/3.4, letting more light in for better low-light performance using its 1/2" CMOS. It also improves its 4K fps from 30 to 60 for smoother video and incorporates a 7x optical zoom for clear close-ups.

An omnidirectional obstacle sensing system with APAS 5.0 technology actively detects obstacles during flight and will automatically plot safe routes around them during flight.

[Yes] I have been a full time photographer for 45 years. This is my 8th DJI drone since 2014, and this camera system is a game changer. For $800 extra $, i get 2 extra telephoto lenses. And, those 2 extra cameras are the best ones i have ever had. I am in Heaven. Thank you DJI, and B&H

[Omnidirectional] Great flight time with the batteries, the footage is absolutely stunning straight out of the drone with automatic settings and gets better as you adjust your settings manually. The controller has zero glare issues and I find it easy to use even in glaring sun.

[Omnidirectional] I've had almost. Every DJI drone and even some other brands, but nothing gives you the bang for the buck like the Mavic 3 Classic.

Be sure to pick up an extra battery as you'll want to keep it in the air as much as you can it's so good. Also, don't forget a good set of ND filters.

[Omnidirectional] I'm flying my new drone on a project I have in Louisiana and loving it. When I received my drone, I took it out of the box and immediately the drone needed an update which took 90 minutes. You must have internet connection for the 90 minute update and registering the drone. I'm grateful to have the 1TB. I did find when I filmed in 4k ProRes my personal computer system made it choppy, but when I reformatted to1080P, then it worked great on my system. So now the question is should I get a new system which is another 5K to work with the amazing 5.1 Prores 422HQ footage. What I love most about this system is the controls, no longer using my phone, their large touch screen is amazing, it's so much easier to fly. I've flown it 10 times in the first 2 weeks and all times it's been great accept when I tried to fly it within 100 ft of a court house. I forgot being too close to government buildings will sometimes ground you. I have yet to test out the telephoto lens, pano, and many other features. But I did use active follow, which is incredible.

[4 S / 17.6 V] Thing has made the money I spent on it back in the first 2 weeks. Upgraded from an Air 2s and there is so much to love.

[8.9 lb] What doesn't this drone do well? Both zooms are special. With the 166mm zoom lens even more so in my opinion. I even captured fireworks with a lighthouse together in a night shot with that 166mm zoom that came out absolutely stunning.

[35°] This is a great aerial platform for photography and inspection work. I think the M3P price is justified on ROI alone; everything else is cake. The 70mm and 166mm zoom lenses lack the image quality of the Hasselblad, but are a step up from previous DJI zooms, and very useful in of themselves for inspection and 'Capture the Moment' type of situations. The bundled DJI RC works well for recreational flying, but the stellar DJI RC Pro is a better option for commercial pilots IMHO. If DJI released an SDK for the M3P Filght Controller, that would be icing on a very useful cake. Fly Safe.
