The raven black 501 Adjustable Baseplate from Kondor Blue provides locking height adjustability with up to 0.6" of adjustment range. Designed with an integrated ARRI-style dovetail clamp for pairing perfectly with Kondor Blue's own lightweight dovetail plates, this baseplate provides ample mounting capabilities by offering 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 helicoil mounting holes, and it features captive M4 ratchet knobs for better tightening reliability, as well as improved 15mm standard rail clamps for adding optional 15mm rods. Machined with precise 1mm adjustments corresponding to laser engravings to facilitate accurate baseplate height adjustability, this model requires an optional quick release plate to facilitate camera mounting. An Allen key is also included in the package.

[Baseplate] Works great for ninja V . The Allen key used to tighten the locks are the same size as the one built in to my small rig cage which is very convenient. There was an older version of this same mount that gets worse reviews this one is fantastic. 5

[Baseplate] This inexpensive piece attaches via a 1/4 20” and saves you the need to hold that extra gear. Mounting the cold shoe plate to the side of your camera or gear cage is like having another arm, and saves you from a jumbled mess. For $10, this is a must have for folks who use cold shoe mounts daily. 5

[Universal] Excellent piece of hardware. My only criticism is that I wish it was quicker to attach and remove from a camera cage for rebuilds. But that might compromise it's integrity and am ok with that for now. 5

[Universal] Maybe a tad pricey for what it is, but it sits well above its competition. I've had numerous 501-to-Arca adapters in my life and this is the best one I've used. Very solid and well built, the tightening knob on the Arca Swiss plate is comfortable to tighten. It's the most versatile one as well because you can rotate the Arca adapter from horizontal to vertical orientation, so it fits both L-bracket style Arca plates but also vertical Arca Swiss QR plates a lot of 15mm LWS kits are using nowadays. Don't second guess it, just get it. 5
