Create a handle that best suits your handheld camera rig using this Wooden Camera Ultra Handle Rear Upright 3/8-16 Universalfrom Wooden Camera, thanks to its modular design. Attach this connector to the top rear of your camera rig using the 3/8"-16 mounting screw at the base. Multiple anti-twist 3/8"-16 threads can attach it to separately available extension pieces.

Two 1/4"-20 and two 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads allow you to integrate additional accessories of your choice. Included with the connector are two attached locating pins and two extra pins to keep its connection to your camera secure.

A: Unlike the standards for placement of 15mm rods, there is no standard for handles and unfortunately we are not able to test the compatibility of these two different brands of handles. That being said they do look very similar and the swap may very well work.

Q: 2. is there any wooden tophandles that attach via arri antitwist dual pin mount? i like this discontnued one BH #SMHTR2640

A: There are currently no Wooden Camera top handles that incorporate anti-twist locking pins.

Q: 3. Is the hole spacing also compatible with the "RED DSMC2 TACTICAL TOP PLATE" or only with the WC DSMC2 Top plate ?

A: this is compatible with the WC DSMC2 Top plate

Q: 4. Is this compatible with the "RED DAMC2 Tactical Top Plate"?

A: The Wooden Camera Master Top Handle for RED DSMC2 (Main Handle Section) BH #WO248800 • MFR #248800 is compatible with the WC DSMC2 Top plate.

Q: 5. Are hot shoes designed to support the weight of the camera and lens hanging from it?

A: Hi William. The intention of this handle is for lightweight camcorder and DSLR camera setups. That said, a hot shoe mount can support heavier cameras depending on the application. If you would like to discuss this further you may email us directly with camera and lens information.

Q: 6. Anyone know if this would fit on the Walimex Pro Univeral Cage?

A: Outside of the 15mm rod spacing and the use of 1/4 and 3/8 holes, there are no standards to camera rigs and manufacturers are free to design the way they see fit. Unfortunately, we cannot say if this will work as you ask. Hopefully someone will be able to report to this.

Q: 7. Can someone confirm if both bolts will attach to the RIGHT side of the Tilta Advanced cage for the S1H (TA-T38)?

A: This UURig handle does not line up with Tilta cages.

Q: 8. What is the distance, center to center, of the 1/4x20" mounting screws? One of the photos says 18mm side spacing, but I'm not sure if they are referring to the distance between the screws.

A: This handle is designed to work with Smallrig cages and Smallrig does not provide the spacing information.

Q: 9. What is that rod attachment shown in the picture on the front of the camera/cheese plate?

A: That is two different products from Wooden Camera. First is the Top Plate for C100, C300, C500, while the 2nd product is the the 15mm Tube Clamp for UVF Mount and UVF Mount v2.

Q: 10. does wooden camera Top Handle Kit (RED KOMODO, ARCA Swiss) fits to RED dsmc2?

A: no this will not work on the DSMC 2 bodies

[0.205 lb] I use this on the Wooden Camera C100 top plate, and it fits perfectly on my C100 MKI. I can mount the C100 handle with the XLR inputs, and still have the top plate handy for mounting monitors, lights, etc. As usual, Wooden Camera's products are top notch. And B&H, as always, has the best price and the quickest shipping. Perfect addition to my camera rig. 5

[Black] For the money I can't complain much. I don't find the top handle that useful so I think that could have been an add on and lowered the price even more. Same with the wooden handle, don't need it so would have liked the option to buy without it. The only alternative for cameras with a battery grip is the much more expensive Wooden Camera/Manfrotto tall cage, so I am still very happy with this cage and it's amazing value. 5

[Aluminum] I have two of these because they are that good. Out of all the top handles released for the Komodo, I keep coming back to this because it's A) Practical B)Solid and C) provides built in top rod mounts so I can mount a motor for Low profile configurations. I've used pretty much all of the available Komodo top handles and this is the only top handle I see handle a tough work environment. 5

[Aluminum] I wanted to try a handle on the right hand side of my Tilta Advance S1H cage, and find this works as expected. The handle is a bit small, but still functional. The ability to be used on either side of the cage, and the range of height adjustments make it a good solution. The top has 1/4x20 screw holes and a cold shoe receiver for mounting accessories, which will come in handy as my S1H rig gets a bit crowded. There is an Allen wrench held in place with a magnet, which is handy. The wood parts of the handle look nice, and are more comfortable than bare metal or plastic. I will likely cover the handle with tennis racket tape for better grip. 5
