A: I purchased the 12X16 Chimera for my lumedyne because I also shoot on location and didn't want to take my Chimera Octa because it was just too much to lug around.The rods are around 12'' I love this soft box and it is made in America.

Q: 5. What's this difference between this and the discontinued Chimera 1035?

A: The only difference is the shape of the back of the lightbank, the old model 1035 has a design that if it's not installed properly , you may lost some amount of the light bounced to the back of the lightbank. Now the new design of the back makes all the light will be bounced to the front so this makes a little more efficient. both of them will work like a dream. I strongly suggest to use a Quick Release Speed Ring from Chimera to your brand strobes. this also become more efficient timing in order to collapse the light bank for transportation and a Chimera Fabric Grid for occlusion of the angle of the light. All my softboxes are Chimera, and works perfectly.

Q: 6. Hi, There are 3 separate listings for this blower, ED500, 500W, 500P. I've seen it mentioned that the difference is the motor, being "one is single stage and one is 70CFM", but that is like saying "one is an apple and one drives fast", I don't think it is answering the question accurately. All listings show the 70 CFM capability. Does anyone know the difference between the 3? I cannot find it anywhere and they all seem to be the same unit for the same price.

[1] Our veterinary clinic started with one (a larger version) and now we have four converters and plan on buying more. There seems to be a size/configuration for all situations. They are well built. Function as intended. Sturdy. Zero complaints and so happy we found this company after lots and lots of research! Shipping has been incredibly fast, too. The only negative I have is that the phone/tablet slots are unnecessary. We all agree that a fully flat surface would be better. If I really wanted to stand up my phone/tablet, I could just buy a little stand and be able to easily move it around. That said, the built in slots don't really cause us any issues. 5

[1] Got this for my son’s room. I put a 1.25” butcher block top on it. The desk works great and lifts and lowers smooth. I have purchased other products from this company. So far everything still works and the quality is really good. Don’t fall for the expensive and cheaply made stuff in the store. This brand will outlast them by a long shot. 5

[White] I bought about a month ago because I was having back and leg pain. This was a great buy. I looked at several other much more expensive options by other brands. This works great, for less money. The electric motor works properly. It's quiet and I can set a timer to go off to remind me to change the height. 5

Simple yet effective controls for up and down actuate a piston underneath. The unit itself is sleek and stylish, in the down position you might not even know what it was. The height is adjusted automatically by pressing one button. There are three buttons on the keyboard that can be used to set the desired height. When you press the button, the table rises to the height you remember. The lifting mechanism operates silently. The table frame is metal, so it is durable. Works from a socket. There is a minus - the tabletop is made of a material on which traces remain even from the slightest touch. You cannot raise or lower the height for a long time, as the lifting mechanism overheats and the message “hot” appears on the screen. The advantage of the table is that it rises quite high, allowing you to work standing at any height, for example, with drawings. Moreover, even in the highest position the table is stable and does not wobble. 5
