[10x] I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The glass in these is the nicest you can find for this price let alone most bino's under 1k. shipping as incredible and needless to say, i'm more than pleased. thank b&h, i will be returning in the future!

[Porro (BAK4)] First off, thanks for the really quick two day delivery and great price.
Now for the Binoculars,,,,
These Hawkes' just exude quality!
I have a pair of very high priced 10 x 50 binos from another manufacturer and the bright clear image of these 10 x 42 Hawkes' just puts the other to shame. They snap into focus and have a superb dept of field that doesn't require constant refocusing.
Everything is well thought out including the well designed carrying case.
These have proven to be a worth while purchase.

[42 mm] I bought 2 Hawke Nature-Trek 10x42 bins for my grandkids. I researched all of the entry level bins on the internet and Hawke stood out in the reviews. Comparing these binoculars to my $500 Leupolds, I was surprised at the solid build and optics. Not the light gathering ability of Leupold, but solid clear easy to focus images. Excellent price and service from B&H, as always. I think these will give the kids years of enjoyment. I also recommend these for the casual adult user.

[42 mm] These binoculars are excellent. The provide clean light and crisp focus in a relatively small and light body. Rubberized body helps to keep a good grip on the glasses. Hands down the best binoculars I've owned.

[42 mm] I never knew the brand Hawke before. I read a couple of reviews mentioning the brand recently. So I decided to buy a pair to see if they are good. I found the APO probably has the best optical performance that you can buy under $3,000. I don't know it's durability. But in general, the build quality is very good. If you're an amateur user, the APO should be your top choice.

[42 mm] Careful not to order the Model 80 by mistake. Also an Alpen Teton 10x42, but not with the Abbe prisms.
These binocs are insanely bright. Like going from watching and HD movie to watching one in 3D IMAX. Very impressed with them for this price. I could have used a tad more eye relief but that's nit picking.
